Thats such a random essay! I used to have to do this kind of thing in school and always hated it actually but I bet it could be fun! Sounds easier than my current essay on Italy's increasing levels of greenhouse gas emissions and the nation's involvement in the Kyoto Protocol (written in italian)!

I'm having a hard time with this. It has to be image that I'm spending a day with him: what would I want to say to him, learn and share with him. This is due tomorrow at 1 pm. Here's what I have so far:
The celebrity I would like to meet is Mark-Paul Gosselaar. I’ve been a fan of his since Saved By The Bell first aired on NBC in 1989. I watched the show ever single Saturday. I wouldn’t move from the couch until the show was over. I loved the show, because they were all the same age as I was. They were in high school the same time I was. They dealt with the same problems and situations as I did. Watching the show and seeing all the difficulties they faced helped me to find solutions to some of my problems.
In 1993 they showed Saved By The Bell: The College Years on NBC on primetime. Mark-Paul Gosselaar was the star of that show, also. I was in college the same time as the show was. I was going through the same things. It was fun to watch them to compare my life to their lives. My friends and I used to watch and talk about the show to see if it was like real life.
Mark-Paul’s most recent acting job was on NYPD Blue. I watched this, because he played a detective and I’ve always liked cop/drama shows. This was his first serious role. (This is where I need to add more)
If I got to meet Mark-Paul I would like to know why he became an actor. I would ask him if he took acting lessons. What the best and worse part of acting is? What has been his favorite part to play as an actor? What he’s going to do next? I know that he’s married and has a son. So I would ask him if he would let his son act. Did his career turn out the way he expected it too. What does he do when he’s not acting? Does he still keep in touch with the people he acted with on the series? What would he be doing if he wasn’t acting?
Any help would be appricated it. (thanks)

Umm, maybe try and mention the other movies he has been in and that even though he's not an A-List actor, he's still a great actor. And that just because some people might of found SBTB to be a "cheesy" show, he still put on a great job. Just try and mention the other projects he has. And maybe some charity work he's done.

Sounds great so far, I would maybe add some more reasons why you would like to meet him in particular, something more about his achievements/positive points and why you are a fan of him as opposed to any other person. I saw you had some questions that you would like to ask him, maybe you could also add some more about things you'd like to know about him and why. What, in your opinion, distinguishes Mark-Paul from every other actor out there?

Sounds pretty good. It's a little choppy...try bringing your sentences together by describing things more. It will also add a lot more to the essay in length. Try not to write so much about the shows too...that's all I'm reading about so far is the shows and not him. I'd still describe the shows but explain his character more and explain the problems you shared with him and his character. Reading descriptions of the show could mean you would want to meet any of the cast members. And maybe you could start your essay off by telling a bit about him as if no one knew who he was, describe what he looks like and what makes him such a loveable actor.
Hope it goes all right...I'd love to see the final product. ;D

(this is the finished product) there's a paper and it says Imagine that the two of you can spend the day together: What would you want to say, learn and share with this person.
The celebrity I would like to meet is Mark-Paul Gosselaar. If I was to meet him I would tell him that I’ve been a fan of his since Saved by the Bell first aired on NBC in 1989. I watched the show every single Saturday. I wouldn’t move from the couch until the show was over. I loved the show, because you were all the same age as I was. You were in high school the same time I was and dealt with the same problems and situations as I did. Watching the show and seeing all the difficulties you faced helped me to find solutions to some of my problems.
I watched you in Saved by the Bell: The College Years on NBC on primetime. I was in college the same time as you were on the show. I was going through the same things. It was fun to watch you and your friends and compare my life to your lives. My friends and I used to watch and talk about the show to see if it was like real life.
I would tell him that I really enjoyed watching him on NYPD Blue. I watched this because you played a detective and I’ve always liked cop/drama shows. I liked this show, because it was your first serious role. You were popular with the adults who watched the show and it proved that you were a serious actor.
If I got to meet Mark-Paul I would like to ask him some questions. I would like to know why he became an actor. I would ask him if he took acting lessons. What the best and worst part of acting is. What has been his favorite part to play as an actor. What he’s going to do next? I know that he’s married and has a son. So I would ask him if he would let his son act. I would also ask him if his career turned out the way he expected it to turn out. What does he do when he’s not acting? Does he still keep in touch with the people he acted with on the series? What would he be doing if he wasn’t acting?
If I had the chance to really meet him I would tell him that he’s given me hours and hours of enjoyment over the past 15 years. I’d like to tell him he’s one of my favorite actors (and good looking) and that I hope he continues to act in serious roles, because that’s what I enjoy watching him in the most.
I’m hoping to go to California to visit some friends soon. If I was lucky enough to meet him on my trip, of course, I wouldn’t be able to say a word to him, because I would be so flabbergasted I’d just freeze up !

Tell me what you guys think.
My friend told me a few weeks ago, that her boyfriend is good friends with Mario, because they were on the same team for Extreme Dodgeball, so maybe when I go out there I can meet Mario and then meet MP.
I'm done now. (LOL)
