It's true. I just saw the really large cover art from Lions Gate on their lionsgateinfo.com site. Anyway, it's just silly how it's a cast picture and they're wearing Saved By The Bell jackets with their real names on them, and how they Photoshopped Mr. Belding in so that it looks like Jessie (or rather, Elizabeth Berkley) can't keep her hands off him.
But yes, Mark-Paul has an earring on his left ear. It's funny. Anyhow, the spine is a red locker, so it should look similar yet different from the last season. Just 17 more days!

yes i have noticed that before. the earing doesnt seem to go. he didnt wear it in sbtb, mayby he had gotten one in real life at that time.

Everyone knows my opinion on the new cover art. LOL YUCK! (Zack is also cropped and put on the desk. He's sitting on the floor in the original picture.) I kinda feel bad for Dennis Haskins, too. They couldn't find one descent picture with him in it?? Looks weird to me. But yeah, I think MPG looked sexy with an earring..lol  By the way..you can also see the big/spine dvd artwork on my site, www.savedbythebellnow.com/DVD/dvd.html Just click on the thumbnail of the new artwork. Is it me, or did they darken Jessie's hair in that picture? It looks like a really bad color balance to me...but I may be wrong. It looks way too dark.  |

Zack's earring is on the opposite ear... it's an earring. The cover art really isn't bad at all considering they're all wearing the letterman jackets, and it's a good pose altogether. Placing the image of Zack on the desk looks better for the cover, and for people who haven't seen the original picture that this image was drawn from, it's hardly noticeable. Much better cover than the first DVD set. But what is with Belding? First, it's a horrible picture of Dennis Haskins. I'm sure that in the library of graphics, videos, and photo shots in NBC, that there is at least ONE better picture that they could have used instead of this one. And Jessie?? This is SBTB, not Showgirls. Under no circumstances (and I'm sure it's not in the Bayside Student Handbook, but it's understood) are students allowed to give their high school principals seductive teases or lapdances!!! All in all, good cover shot, great idea... horrible detailing. |
