You make a good point. However, remember that the writer's intentions were to make the viewer believe that Jessie and Kelly were out of school that day or something....with the way they originally aired the episodes. I always thought that was one of the cheesiest things the writers ever did, which is saying a lot being that in Jessie's Song, Jessie acted like she was on crack instead of caffine pills

Yeah...it was sort of awkward. I don't remember any other series doing something like it. LOL

LOL Well, I am not sure which comment you mean when you say you don't know of other series doing something like that so I will say: Family Ties had an episode in which Alex got addicted to caffeine pills and also acted like he was on crack. Family matters, Happy days both had shows in which characters where just dropped. Boy meets world and Roseanne had shows in which characters where dropped and then brought back a bit later with replacements. AfterMASH used to pretend characters were on the phone. "Hey I just got off the phone with Hawkeye, he says hi"

"Hey I just got off the phone with Hawkeye, he says hi" Yeah others have similar attempts...but none really so silly as to make the viewer believe the characters were there, just not at the moment...and never together. know what i mean? lol i guess they pulled it off, since it was aimed for kids.

You know I never picked up on the whole writers plan about Jessie/Kelly being in a different class until I saw a mention of it on the fansites, this always made me wonder if that was really the plan or if it was just an urban legend. Lets face it maintaing a storyline wasn't high on their list of goals

Yeah, I don't think it was ever an objective to maintain a story line....and its clearly seen. lol
