I first read this around 1996 or so.Last time I heard anything about it was around 2000 or so if I am not mistaken. |

I believe there was a period where he was enstranged from his parents. But as of yet, they've made up and are fine.

Mark-Paul ceased contact with his parents shortly after he married Lisa in 1996 (I should hasten to add Lisa wasn't the reason).  He hasn't spoken about his parents for several years now (either to confirm or deny that they are still estranged) but the last time he did mention anything they were indeed still estranged. |

Mark-Paul ceased contact with his parents shortly after he married Lisa in 1996 (I should hasten to add Lisa wasn't the reason). He hasn't spoken about his parents for several years now (either to confirm or deny that they are still estranged) but the last time he did mention anything they were indeed still estranged. I could have sworn he mentioned his mother in a talk show, where he talked about Michael...maybe I'm wrong. But for some reason I remember she's helping with raising the baby, watching over him, etc. But I could be wrong. My memory is always vague. |

On Sharon Osbourne show he definitely mentioned one grandma helping with Michael but that was Lisa's mother that had moved to California and moved in with them wasn't it?

actually yeah you guys are right... iunno the exact episode number or show but i do remember him clearly saying that his mother helps take care of Michael along with other family members

I'm so glad to hear that they are reconciled.
