Well, it seems that I am one of the very few who watched SBTB during the original airings. Anyway, when the Senior Year season of SBTB was starting on Saturday mornings, there was a promo commercial saying that there would be a new girl. The promo then showed Tori and the girls in a semi-circle giggling.
Mind you, this was BEFORE the senior year episodes had started airing. From that promo, I thought Tori was just going to be a new cast member. There was no way any of us could have known that Senior Year was going to be split into Tori episodes and regular episodes.
It's hard to make a timeline of the events that actually happened. If I'm correct, Hawaiian Style was filmed AFTER senior year, but before college years right? Mark had begun putting on some weight and by the time college years came, he was considerably chunkier than during senior year.
Not to mention the promos during the Graduation episode that segued into the college pilot. I have this on tape, by the way if anyone wants it.
Any other old SBTB fans here? Ones that watched the series during the original run (not on TBS or Nick)? I would like to work with someone to figure out a timeline.

I am a fan from the beginning as well, but was too young to remember details like that. Sorry...I wish I did remember though.

Yeah I watched it during it's original run. However, I have the worst memory. But I can somewhat remember somethings. One thing I remember is that what you say might be incorrect.. Hawaiian Style couldn't have been filmed after their senior year because it was aired right after their junior year and before their Senior year.
Oh! Duh..I have the script! Let me check....
Ok on the script it reads MAY 1, 1992...
Now let's do some investigation. I will post again.

OK Here are my clues. I have 3 Senior Year scripts: Slater's Sister was filmed on February 26, 1992 Day of Detention was filmed on Feb. 26, as well. School Song was filmed on March 18, 1992. And Hawaiian Style was filmed May 1, 1992. Now for their air dates, they all aired during the Fall of 1992. (Hawaiian Style aired in November..in between the last season) So, it couldn't have been filmed after the Senior year before College Years. Does this make sense? here is the episode guide I follow epguides.com/SavedbytheBell/

AND!
I remember thinking...."Why is Zack dating this girl Andrea, I thought he got back with Kelly!?"
According to this episode guide, The Senior Prom aired on Nov. 7 and Hawaiian Style aired Nov. 27....I think we have found another SBTB inconsistency! LOL

Keep this in mind... Hawaiian Style HAD to have been filmed before Senior Year, since Tiffani-Amber Thiessen and Elizabeth Berkeley appear in the movie, rather than Leanna Creel. The inconsistencies of the episode airings make this a confusing topic, but here is the proof. Follow this link for more details. www.tvtome.com/tvtome/servlet/GuidePageServlet/showid-457/epid-22252/"This was Tiffani Amber Theissen's and Elizabeth Berkley's last appearances with the gang. This movie was filmed after Episode 87 and before episode 65, when Tori Scott first came on the show." The listing of the episodes can be found here: epguides.com/SavedbytheBell/

An interview with Lark from SuperTeen magazine in January 1994:
ST: What was the atmosphere like the last day on the set? Lark: Weird. We had always been used to saying, "This is the last show," and then a few months later we'd come back. It was kind of sad. I don't think that any of us wanted to take it seriously. I don't think we let it hit us yet.
ST: When did it hit you? Lark: Actually it was three to four weeks later. We weren't going back Monday mornings for the table readings, and the rehearsals all week and the Friday performances. I just wasn't seeing the faces - the cast, the crew, the director - and it hit me that we weren't coming back. But then we did the movie [SBTB - Hawaiian Style]!
So...whatever that means...

Remember them mentioning that on E True Hollywood Story...that they came back to do the movie?? Yes I do. I just said that because that really didn't give any clarification as to the "time" when the Hawaiian movie was shot. Yes, it was after the last show, but which last show? She said they'd been saying "This is the last show" for awhile, so it could have been after the Kelly/Jessie one. Or it could have been after the Tori ones. Or whatever.
