Thanks Zach86!
I am very fortunate and blessed to have such a wonderful and happy family! And that's the nice thing, we truly are happy.

Friar, it is great to put a face to the name. That is a wonderful family photo! And as Barb said, yes you are very handsome.

Hey QK, It is good to put faces to the names on this site. We are all such good friends here through our mutual love of SBTB, but it goes deeper than that too, since we talk about all kinds of things. It is good to be able to link a face with the words! Thanks so much for the compliment about my family...I think it's a wonderful photo too! And thank you for the "handsome" compliment as well. I asked you guys to take it easy on me being the old guy in the group, but now you are making me blush! LOL! The ;D Friar

Friar, I think you and I may be the 2 oldest ones on here! I know there is an old thread somewhere here where members were stating there ages. Have to see if we can find it. You are right about this site going deeper. This is more like a family.

QK,
I have to say that you are absolutely right, we are more like a family on here. I know we started talking back and forth both through the forum and through PM and it was a rocky start. HOWEVER, I am so glad that the problem we had was placed in our way. If it hadn't we may never have talked to each other, other than the occasional comment about a post. I am so very thankful that good came out of a potentially bad situation! I feel our friendship has grown a lot here!
And besides, we senior citizens of the SBTB faithful must stick together!!! LOL!
Your friend,
The ;D Friar

Friar and Queen Kelly,
I know what u guys are saying! On days when i'm too busy to go on the forum I just don't feel right. Its just so great to have a relationship with everyone in here. For example: When i got engaged to my girlfriend and announced it on the forum. Its like i got to share that moment with everyone on the forum and they were all happy for me. Its things like that, that make this forum such a special place to me.

Yes Friar, us senior citizens must stick together! LOL That's funny! But you're right about everything you said in your post! Our friendship has grown alot here! I too am so glad we got our situation straightened out. I love coming to this forum and posting with everyone.
zach86, I feel the same way. I can't make it to the site every day, but when I'm here, I enjoy every minute of it. I actually find this site to be soooo relaxing! I'm on 3 other forums and if one of the others get me a little frustrated, I come here to post and I feel relaxed and like I'm at home!
Great pic Ahmuty!

Friar, when it comes to age, because of my mom and grandmother, I take your comment about us being "senior citizens" as a compliment! ;D

I know exactly what you mean QK! If this puts me into the same group as my Mema and Pepa (my grandparents) then I am more than happy to be called "senior citizen"! I feel like the episode where the SBTB gang was all senior citizens!!! LOL!!! "What's that ya say sonny?" LOL!!!

thanks for the compliments. i was in the navy (i went subs) but i got to do flight training for a week and actually flew the plane in the background. the guy in the middle is the actual pilot and the guy on the left is my buddy. there's nothing like flying a plane.
