My dad's side:
My dad and his half brother were adopted. My dad and my uncle have 4 cousins. My grandma died when I was 3 and my dads uncle died about 10-15 years ago. My grandpa married his sister-in-law who is the mother of my dads 4 cousins.
So now, my dads 4 cousins are his step siblings. The oldest grandchild is in his early 30's and the youngest just turned 4. The first great-grandchild is my nephew and he is older then the youngest grandchild.
My mom's side:
Grandma married for 12 years to first husband. During marriage they have a daughter, 10 years later they have another daughter and a year and a half later they have a son. Marriage ends after 12 years due to first husbands alcoholism. Grandma meets second husband and he adopts my mom and my uncle. This year will be their 46th wedding anniversary.

haha QK, kinda sounds like my great uncle's life. He married his deceased wife's cousin...so his kids are related to his new wife two different ways...as well as her kids.
I have 4 nephews, 3 nieces, 2 great nephews (another 1 on the way), and a great niece. I was a great aunt at the age of 15. LOL So that makes my mom a great grandmother...and she's 60...so she had me when she was 40.

i have cousins just not first cousins. my family is hoping my sister doesn have kids anytime soon, she NOT ready! lol neither am i but wel see. i might be getting some step first cousins though.

LOL that was the harder way to explain my dad's side of the family. On my dad's side, my grandpa's second wife is his sister-in law. She was married to my grandma's brother.
