Same here, im glad you got that domain, because most of my web surfing is done at school, and they block "free pages." It sucks they use the Bess filter and it blocks this board, so I just use a CGI proxy to get around the block ;D Heheh that made me smile because when I was in HS I did the exact same thing. I had Bess all figured out. I`m so glad you have a domain Barb. How awesome is that? I think I can remember. |

haha Yes! My school had Bess too. I went to www.the-cloak.com and then there was another site too, but I forget it. How bad is that? I just graduated in May and I used both sites for like 4 years. If I remember it I will let you know. What will the site be like? Well, it will mainly be multimedia but I'm going to try to add information as well. I think that's only fair. If the whole multimedia thing gets out of hand with direct linking, then I'm going to have to tone it down and just have some stuff and more info. |

Thats nice, though there should be a script or atleast a section in the hosting department to denie Hotlinking. I know when I was with a company, we had a built in section where you can turn Hotlinking on or off. |

It's usually featured in cpanel, you should have cpanel right ?
You can have all .gifs, .jpegs, .wmvs etc. allow to be linked from sbtb.org only, there's just one minor problem, you can't like direct link to your own site, I mean, you can't give these links on this board either, because it wouldn't allow you (Or you'd have to allow every .wmv to be linked from this board too, etc. You can allow as many sites as you like)

Carrie, just go to www.the-cloak.com/ and click on start surfing...then put in the web address of your choice. But don't close the browser because it'll only let a computer use it once a day or something like that. I'm still trying to think of the other site I used to go to.  |

The fact that it's in asian really doesn't matter, all you have to do is type the web address into the box halfway down the page, and it'll launch a new window |

Jeff messaged me the other day wondering if SBTB Corner would be back...just wanted to let you all know that I plan on it, just don't know when. Right now I'm scheduled to be back home end of August, but it maybe the beginning of September. I plan on doing the site in my free time (don't know how much I'll have - i have to find a job) so I hope to have it up sometime in the next few months. You know the deal...it will be graphics and pictures. But no domain...won't be able to afford it. I'll have a car to worry about and a cell phone bill. lol Now I have to find a nice freesite or someone to host me lol ...but this time around I'm not going to worry about updating constantly. Updates will come when I have the time or frankly, when I feel like it. Sometimes I just feel like getting on the net to talk or post...and sometimes I don't even feel like getting on the computer. lol |
