Hey Gossin! Looks like we're the oldest members on the forum! I'm 27. Will be 28 in December. BTW, I totally agree with you on the drinking thing. Teens shouldn't be drinking! When I was in high school, I got drunk twice. Nothing bad happened to me, but I remember my friend at the time and I were standing outside of a convinient store, and we were both so drunk we talked some guy into buying us a box of condoms. The guy did it then left the store. We just opened up the box and started playing with them. Nothing sexual, but when I look back on that I think, how humiliating! Before I hit my teens, my parents would have friends over and they would drink. Of course having kids in the house, they were very responsible about it. I would go up to my parents and ask them if I could try their drink. Before I say this part I have to warn you that if you say anything negative about my parents I will no longer have any comunication with you. I DON'T want that to happen. My parents would agree to let me have a SIP of their drink. When I say SIP, I mean like a drop. I took a sip of my dad's drink and turned my head away thinking it was the most disgusting thing I had ever tasted. I can't remember what the drink was, but I know it looked like Chocolate milk. That's why I really wanted to taste it. I think both my parents were happy to see the expression on my face. I do drink now, but it is very rare. You've probably heard of Vodka Coolers. Well, when I do drink I have 1 maybe 2 and it's the one with 5% alcohol in it. When I was in high school my friends would tell me how drunk they got over the weekend and I would be thinking, how stupid is that! It has been proven that drinking as a teenager can cause damage to you in the future. Just a little word of advice to you, when you have kids, they are probably gonna want to experiment with drinking. I would say if your teen were to get drunk once, don't get angry with them. After the alcohol wears off, the HANGOVER comes on and that might be the thing that would deter them from drinking anymore and I wouldn't worry about punishing them. The hangover will take care of that. If they get drunk a second time, DEFINETLY step in. Holy Crap did I go off topic!

Goosin Asking if we are okay because of the one part in my reply about my parents with the drinking part. You seem very passionate about that subject. If you read my reply, You'll understand what I was asking.

If you read my reply, You'll understand what I was asking. I must say I disagree with your stance on teen drinking.I gave some of the reasons why in the beginning of the thread. The key to it is being safe. For me that means never drinking and driving. I guess females gotta watch out for dudes takin advantage of you sexually, but I really don't worry about girls taking advantage of me when I'm drunk (hell I would even welcome it ;D) Anyway, like I said, saftey and moderation are the key ;D; I only drink like once every 1-2 months and I will continue to do so

Wow, a 5 year reunion!? Talk about making someone feel old even sooner! LOL I am 23 too...but we're not having a 5 year reunion. (thank goodness!) LOL I'm actually looking forward to our renunion, because at least now I'll actually recognize everyone from my class! And, if I decide I want to get in touch with anyone again now is the time to do it. Once I got over feeling old, I got excited about it.
