the dialogue is unbelievale and complex because teenagers don't get the chance to show intellect and smart they really are, people expect them to be up to know good care-free kids, but really there not, thats how dawson's creek shows it..that's my opinion.

ive never really watched dawsons creek mainly because i didnt like that they put there show in the same time slot as 90210. they were almost trying to kick 90210 out. so i pretty much boycotted it and didnt watch. lol which is better dawsons creek or the OC?

I watched both. I knew they weren't on the same time the first year it was on. The second season to the series finale it was on the same time.

do you mean the show mark-paul was in for a little while? it was only on for a year or something right? i used to watch that , it was interesting. which show had a messed up episode? lol i got confused.

I don't think teenagers are stupid, but today I caught a part of the show on TBS and there was a scene where Dawson was talking about his fantasy world in film. I don't remember the entire dialogue, but Pacey mentioned to Dawson about him not being "de-flowered" yet.
For the guys out there, do you seriously have conversations usings words like that? This has nothing to do with the inteligence of teens. I've just never heard these conversations between teens before. I think most teens use average words.
Maybe that's why Joey had so many kissing scenes. She talked to much in another language.lol

Joey was the smart one. This was based on the creator's life (Kevin Williamson) . I know guys don't talk like that. Teenagers can related to what the charactors were going through.

DC and 90210 are my two all time faves...so it was difficult them being on the same night and all. I watch the oc sometimes....they are both good but for different reasons....the oc is more like 90210 than DC. Yes the dialogue was at times not believable but all shows have something that makes them a bit unrealistic...that is what makes it entertainment lol. What was appealing was that their situations were relatable...at least for me!

If I absolutely had to pick the characters I enjoyed the most, I would pick Jen, Jack and Pacey. I think I'll keep my opinion about the other characters to myself. ;)lol

I found this to be an interesting program. Sort of an R rated SBTB I suppose. I vastly prefer the "clean" version. I think it's worth pointing out that both Bianca Lawson (Meghan Jones) and Sarah Lancaster (Rachel Meyers) of the New Class appeared in episodes of DC.

Dawson's Creek would've been a fantastic show... if Dawson + Joey had ended up together.
I've seen every episode + people can argue that she had more sexual chemistry with Pacey, but for me, it was Dawson/Joey from the beginning and Pacey + Andie were magic together. That's why I only really like the 1st 2 seasons

I still love Dawson's Creek to this day. I was such a huge fan of Pacey and Joey being together in the end. I actually could relate to the show when I was younger. Some of the dialogue was unbelievable for teenagers but I still enjoyed it.
