I know, I know; you're thinking "All of these are my favorite!" Mine too. But you can only choose one.

Artie!
I really think that episode is underrated. The whole "police line-up" bit with Slater in the lizard suit is so hammy and silly, it's hilarious (Jessie: "It was an accident!" Artie: "I'm still dead, toots!"). And that final scene with Mr. Belding putting his arm around Slater as they sing Screech's "Danny Boy" parody is genuinely touching.
It's a ridiculous moment (a funeral for a lizard) and yet it achieves some sort of absurd grace.

Also, you forgot our old friend, Johnny "High as a Kite" Dakota.

I think I liked the drunk driving episode best out of all of them because of the message it brought across. I'm glad it turned out the way it did with Zack and them all getting in trouble for what they did and showing how messed up drunk driving is.

I'm with you, I like them all...however...
I voted for the CHRISTmas ep. Homelessness was just coming on to the scene as a problem in this country (mid to late 80s early 90s) and SBTB was there to at least begin to explore the issue. Once again Zack blunders into things with his BIG mouth and then eats crow and learns there is more to it then just "drunks" and "junkies." Way to go Mr. Engel!

I went with Calstar. Every time I see that episode I feel proud of what they did. I feel like they taught teens to fight for what they believe in.

I always thought it was funny that Zack used the word "wine-o" in the Christmas eppy. It's so old-timey.
