In a previous issue of In Touch, there is an article focusing on the life of Mark-Paul Gosselaar, in which talk about him as a teen on SBTB and now as an adult on NYPD Blue and also talk about Mark-Paul receiving an offer to play Clark Kent/Superman in the Pre-production flick, SUPERMAN!....however Mark-Paul declined the offer as a result of bad timing with his wife being pregnant and how he dedicates practically all of his time to NYPD Blue....quoting Mark-Paul from the article "I can't picture myself as the Man Of Steel, no way, that offer was just as bad as the offer I got for the Saved By The Bell reunion!"..........If I can i will try to scan the photos from the article, unfortuneatly my scanner is not running but i will scan them somehow!!!

I heard the first part of the quote since I'm a Superman fan, but that's the first I've heard his quote about doing a reunion...maybe he'll change his mind....HOPEFULLY he'll change his mind!* At least they're approaching the cast...that's a good sign - right?

Looks like the petition may have worked....too bad we can't have one for the actors... Is he the only one? I wonder what the others said?? ...I had my heart set on a reunion. To me, I have no closure for the show. I NEED closure.  - Barbara |

Why wasn't Las Vegas enough closure?? How many halg hour sitcoms do you know wrap up with a two hour wedding movie?? What more could they possibly do? Side note: I'd love to see a reunion movie with Zack and Kelly having a baby and the gang is all there and...  ;D  |

...That's what I want. I want to see married life with Zack and Kelly. The wedding for me was kinda like a tease..."We got married, but you'll never know how the marriage turns out." Of course they're happy( ), but do they have kids, are they going to have kids, etc...?? |

You know though im starting to have doubts about the reunion. i know mark-paul just wants to move on from saved by the bell and i highly doubt he'll do a reunion. i dono how they will do a reunion w/out him he was the main character..i think he should do it, b.c he spent so many years on the show, got his big break, and a TON of fans so i think he should pay some respect and give the fans what they need.

Yes, I totally agree. It wouldn't be a reunion without him. I never wanted a reunion without him, but with hopes of him changing his mind I would love to see a reunion. Maybe in the future they can do a 20 year school reunion movie instead of a 10 year?? Maybe Mark-Paul will realize by then where his fans came from, and that will spark a commitment from him to do a reunion.  ...Maybe. - Barbara |

he doesnt wanna be looked at as Zack Morris again, he thinks it's bad enough that even while he's working on NYPD Blue, fans still go up to him and call him Zack, and he gets pissed but he shakes it off, in many interviews he was asked about his hair, he said that he wanted to change it so much, dye it blue or something just like kids were doing but for him it was such an issue to change his blonde look...it would be kinda dumb to have a reunion with either Mark-Paul not being there, or....with Mark-Paul being there but not with the Zack Morris look.....which one would you rather have???  |

...I think I could handle the dark hair as Zack...it'd be weird at first, but many people dye their hair and he would just be one of those people. A reunion for me is to see how they've grown up and to see what their characters have become. Either way, I'd be happy with it being blonde or dark.

ok hold on a sec? how is his wife being pregnant interfere with him playing in the movie? they're not starting production on it for another 2 years at least! (they're waiting for smallville to end.....) I love superman! it would've been so cool to seem play that part!
and yeah about the sbtb part... ouch! guess we can forget about that reunion special...............
