Yes he is and yes it is. He tries extremely hard to surprise the audience by being all dirty. Bob Sagat does the same thign with his act. People enver see it coming from people like that which is why it is so funny.

I never really found Screech that funny, so anything that he says that is remotely funny would make me laugh I guess.

I liked the Screech character once he hit puberty. Before that he was just kind of an annoying little kid.

They should have canned the whole crush on Lisa. That got old after a few episodes.

To me that was my favorite Screech. I thought he was adorable...and it was more realistic (not that the show was anyway)...but you actually saw the smart side of Screech there (you didn't see it so much later on)...like with Kevin the robot...and how he tutored Kelly.
