Carrie, I don't think anyone here meant to direct anything at you. My only concern is the manner in which the original poster talked about Dustin, he seemed to be kind of inconsiderate of the fact that Dustin was a human being with feelings of his own. Exactly. It's very irresponsible. Big deal if his info is displayed...one shouldn't try to brutally overexpose it...we all need to act responsibly, you know. But I think we can trust everyone here in that case. I think that's even the reason why Carrie posted it. And I would have posted it as well, if I had found it. But I wouldn't display it on the website though.

Hey Carrie! cee and Erika took the words right out of my mouth! I as well am not blaming you for anything! I'm not mad that you posted this! You are a fan of the cast just like everyone else. I think you posted that, just to give us some info on what's going on with Dustin. I don't believe for a second you posted that up there so that forum members could send mail to his address. No anger to ya! We LOVE ya!

Carrie there is no reason to have any regrets for posting this article. You were just trying to share something with us that you came across. I respect dustins privacy and I'm sure the rest of us do too.

I know it sounds tempting, but is anybody here really going to send mail to his home address? I read the article and giving away Dustin's home address without his permission is a total invasion of privacy! I will personally NOT be sending any mail to that address. This jerk totally invaded Dustin's privacy by giving out his home address. Who knows what kind of freaky mail he is going to be getting now! I am not sure how the court system works in Canada, but in the states all that stuff is what we call "a matter of public record". Anything done in open court is up for public viewing including arrests, divorce proceedings, etc.

I'm not sure if it is the same way here. It probably is. I could always ask my cousin about that. He's a police officer. Actually his proper title is Constable (then his name) I remember a few years ago my dad getting a parking ticket, but our address never became public knowledge. As for speeding, no one in my family has ever gotten a speeding ticket. Not to say they were'nt speeding, they just never got caught! lol But I do know that there is a difference in the U.S than in Canada.

Well, it could have been public knowledge but not published on the web. I'm pretty sure most things of that nature do fall into the realm of public record. If you look in the newspaper they usually have a litle write up for each of the tickets issued. What's bad is that I used to live in a small town, my dad ran a restaurant there and by scanning the police reports I could keep up with all his employees. It was a small town but a druggie town, lol.

cee, You're probably right. It would be public record. I mean, if you go apply for a job, one of the questions on the job application is if you have a criminal record. Any they can find out. As far as Dustin goes, his private address was put on the internet. Now who knows how many freaks could be sending him rude, crude mail! And Carrie is apoliziging for posting that info here, when she has nothing to apologize for!
Remember that Carrie! We Love ya! ;D

I'm pretty sure most things of that nature do fall into the realm of public record . Yeah it is for sure here in Wisconsin. Like i said before, my parents sued somebody in small claims court and know my address is on there, so that means that everything is fair game, you don't even have to commit a crime

A very interesting thing happened today. I was reading The Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, and there is a big article on how the state just appointed a panel to look into restricting the availibilty of Wisconsin Public Court Access on the internet.
