National Enquirer is a horrible source. Don't believe it. I don't.

Well, I pray that it's not true. My source never did get back to me, so that kind of makes me wonder...but at the same time it's so hard to believe that Lark would do this...she always seemed to be the one with her head on straight. I guess we'll have to wait and find out...I would imagine that if it isn't true, and since this is spreading fast...that they will come out and put a stop to it soon.

I really do hope it's not true. Addictions are so hard to beat, but it's not impossible. If this is true, I wish her the best, I hope she does beat the addiction because what drugs do to a person are definately not worth it.

I would think it would be on like Extra or ET it it was true, unless it's not out yet.

National Enquirer is in no way a reliable source. If we start hearing this rumor some where else, that is when we have to start worrying.

I seriously doubt that she is and the NEnquirer needs to leave her alone. She has stayed out of the spotlight for a reason I would think and this is the last thing anyone needs.

I would think it would be on like Extra or ET it it was true, unless it's not out yet. i luv lark to death, but i highly doubt it would be on those shows. She's not a very popular celebrity. I've been searching the Internet about lark's issue and it seems that one rumor is just everywhere. How i see it as, something must have went down in order for this rumor to happen whether it be drugs or her condition. My question is, where was her husband while she was addicted to drugs?

I know the Enquirer is mostly ridiculous but a lot of the time this is because they dont check their facts are true. Sometimes the facts are false. Sometimes they're true. I wish people would treat other news providers with similar scepticism. "Reputable" source that agrees with the Enquirer: eurweb.com/story.cfm?id=20902*Actress Lark Voorhies, 31, is reportedly ailing. According to radio personality Patty Jackson of Philadelphia’s WDAS, the “Saved by the Bell” actress is bi-polar and is being hospitalized for substance abuse – specifically, a cocaine addiction. Later this year, she will be featured in the movie, “The Black Man’s Guide to Understanding The Black Woman.” It seems everybody wants to find out, look at the popular Yahoo Lark searches lark voorhies pics, lark voorhies photos, lark voorhies on drugs, lark voorhies news, lark voorhies bio, lark voorhies in rehab, lark voorhies religion

The National Enquirer is what I call a "rag" mag. I would never believe anything that's in it. But if this is true, we have to look at the fact that one of our Bell stars has a very serious illness. I happen to know someone that is bipolar. This is a VERY serious and unpredictable illness. If she is using crack cocaine, resulting from her illness, their is no explanation! No one know if this is true or false, but if she was rushed to the hospital, I really think we should stand by her and support her. Especially if this is true. We are SAVED BY THE BELL fans, and I think we she give her all the support we can! As far as her husband goes, he's probably been by her side and trying to keep this private.
Just to let you know, I'm not saying I believe it's true. But if it is, this is how we can show how dedicated we are to the stars of this show, by showing our support.

I wish people would treat other news providers with similar scepticism. "Reputable" source that agrees with the Enquirer: I agree with you. I am not a fan of the Enquire, but sometimes you have to face facts. David Space is one of many celebrities who has admitted that for the most part everything the Enquirer has said about him has been true. Tom Arnold and Andy Kaufman both sold their stories to the Enquirer. Bill Cosby granted his first interview about his whole doping & groping scandal to the Enquirer (Partly because when his son was murdered, they put up a reward) I think that a lot of it is so many people would rather not want something to be true and say "I want a reliable source" then deal with bad news. When Mitch Hedberg died and Howard Stern (who was a friend of Mitch's) mentioned it, I saw a message board were people said that they wanted a "reliable source", then when the AP ran with the story it was the same thing. It's just something I have noticed

I agree with QueenKelly, I don't think it's true, but if it is we are her fans whether she is ill or not, especially when she's ill in my opinion. As I've said in a related thread if it does turn out to be true maybe we could put together a scrapbook or something for her. Like each person could make a page and then someone can put it all together and see to it that Lark gets it. Maybe we should do that even if it isn't. It can't be easy to have people spreading rumors of this kind about you.

It's just something I have noticed I've noticed the same thing, this is what I was getting at earlier. The Enquirer (which I DO sometimes read!) comes out with a story that everyone slams and tosses aside as lies. The next week the exact same story comes out in US Weekly or People and all of a sudden it becomes a heart-felt piece of journalistic wonderment! We should all use our brains, its not good enough to not believe everything you read in the Enquirer. Just don't believe everything you read, period! Obviously we all hope that the rumours about Lark are unfounded, however several stories on our SBTB faves published there have been true in the past. Fingers crossed. My only curiosity is that, wouldn't Lark's publicist have announced a press release denying these accusations if they were false?
