can someone explain these coinscidense's-
Zack and Jessie have been friends since they were kids, but Zack lived in Indianapolis until 9th Grade.
Zack is always portrayed as an F Student, yet he gets A's on almost all of his reports.
Zack, Lisa, and Screech simultaneously moved to the same area in Malibu(Not really an inconsistency, just weird).
Lisa was going out with Zack for one episode, then on the next episode, she wasn't.
Screech had a little brother in Indiana but was an only child in Bayside.
Kelly was in the Zack Attack on the episode in the future, but on the prom episode she wasn't.
Slater and Zack were fighting at the end of the 9th grade season, but at the beginning of the tenth grade season, they were friends.
Belding's son was born without an umbilical cord and perfectly clean.

There isn't an explanation. Just blame the writers. They weren't very good at following up on their characters or storylines...but that's one of the things that make it SAVED BY THE BELL! But there is an explanation for this: Kelly was in the Zack Attack on the episode in the future, but on the prom episode she wasn't. Kelly didn't play in the band because she needed to get a job to help her family out in the episode "The Last Dance". The question is how come we see Jessie in the band at the Masquerade Ball, but not in "The Rockumentary" episode? (She was probably sick or something along those lines and had to re-written out of that episode can be a good explanation) SBTB FOREVER, Erika

i think it's time to stop talking about the inconsistences between SBTB and Good Morning Miss Bliss.... There are too much inconsistence! So I guess it's a better way to think SBTB to be NOT a "sequel" but a new series. Nothing to do with Miss Bliss. I think the SBTB's Zack has always been living in Palisades, California. He has always been friend of Jessie Spano. He never knew the characters of the Indianapolis High School and all that stuff. I think writers wanted to create a new series with new characters. There are too many differences between the two series that's nearly inpossible to think SBTB is a sequel of Good Morning Miss Bliss... Actually, the only contacts between the series are the NAMES (not the personalities or the background) of 4 characters...
However, in SBTB there are sooooo many inconsistences between episodes.... Ah, writers....

Right On Fran!!! I think the same thing that SBTB was a whole new show. The concepts are totally different. In GMMB it was focused on Miss Bliss and in SBTB on Zach. I think the only reason they associated with each other is zach, screech, lisa. Give it up people. Forget trying to explain the differences. You`ll drive yourself up the wall! Just think of SBTB as a place where Bayside High is the ultimate hang out and your principal is your best friend and that everything is just the way its supposed to be and you will be a happy SBTB fan.

Yeah, the Miss Bliss to SBTB move was a big jump, but you just gotta accept it. It's more mind-boggling when a show like "Boy Meets World" seems to disregard its first season and acts like Topanga and Cory have been dating since they were 3 years old in the sandbox.

Oh lord. Cory and Topanga. First she`s wilderness one with nature kinda gal and the next shes your regular see ya at the mall chick. I liked her better in the first season. Boy meets world is a way different ballgame.

Don't even put BMW in the same category. They at least recognized that some people might have watched the show the previous week and they tried to explain that. They also made nods to Topanga's previous personality. Trust. BMW was a lot better.

that is my other favorite show! i did find that annoying while watching the repeats. the fist season is totally different than the rest. the story lines focused more on the family the first season. then more on high school stuff. and that cory topanga thing was strange. the first season cory hated her and later they are like they been together all these years.

It was strange. When they got married it was wierd for me unlike bell where I was just really happy for them. I think because they showed what it was like for them to be married and somewhere along the lines it became boardline soap opera.

Everything just went downhill with that show once they actually got married (though it seemed they got another good season in between when Topanga said yes and they actually got married and started living the married life). And yes, borderline soap opera for the last two seasons. In fact, I think it crossed the border. With the whole cast in the hospital, relatives reaching out beyond the grave, Shawn's transition from cool-to-brooding & lovestruck...but this is an SBTB forum, so I'll can all the BMW talk. ;D

Freak that, man. BMW did definitely go downhill after the first year of college, but I still enjoyed it. I was upset because they shipped Angela off to Europe and then Shawn decides to go to NY with Cory, Topanga & Eric. I mean, I know Europe is a bit more of a jump from Philly, but you can't tell me he couldn't have managed to get to his girl. If they're gonna change Shawn and have him be all hyper-sensitive writing poetry and being an alcoholic, then he could have gone to Europe with Angela. You know, if someone became a drunk on SBTB that would have been great.

;D Hyper-sensitive, poetry-writing alcoholic...I love it. They should have had him blow up another mailbox in the final season, to be more in line with the original character. Although, they did make a reference to that in the episode where Eric goes on "Kid Gets Aquainted with Universe." Now, that was an awesome episode. And I agree with you, the show was still entertaining to the end, even if the last season or so was often melodramatic and flat.
