In the episodes where they were in the group Zack Attack, they didn't sing themselves, did they? If not, do you know who actualy did the singing? Just curious...  ---*Jaime |

also, does anyone know why Jessie wasn't in the Zack Attack? Was this one of those eps. where she had taken time off?

i was wondering the same thing. mayby she was sick or something. I thougth it was weird she wasnt in it because she was one of the only ones who can really sing. |

in that episode when kelly tell zack about jeff, are jessie and slater singing really there? i mean if that's so, they can sing really good! and with that episode when slater is dating jessie and then his girlfriend from germany comes back, it's the same thing as with jessie, only there lisa wans't in it. i think thats really weird..... |

Mario and Elizabeth weren't singing as far as I know lol. But aren't you mixing two posts here? The second part has nothing to do with the first? But as a reply on that second part: It was often so that one of the girls wasn't in an episode. Mario, Mark-Paul and Dustin were there always, but Kelly, Jessie and Lark weren't.

According to TvTome, this is the reason Elizabeth was not in the episode: Why isn't Jessie in the band? My idea: Maybe because the last time Jessie had to sing, with the other girls in "Hot Sundae", she got addicted to caffiene pills. Granted, she got addicted for a different reason, but if my last experience with a band/musical group resulted in me being addicted to pills, I might not be too excited to repeat it. Then again, maybe Elizabeth Berkley just can't sing. I dunno. Elizabeth Berkley can't sing (response to above) Funny that you should mention the possibility of one of the actors or actresses not being able to sing. In every episode I've ever seen where there was singing by a character, it is always very obviously dubbed and not sung by the actor or actress - especially in this episode! |

Both of those options don't make any sense to me. I think she was doing modelling work or something like that. She had to do something else I guess.

well I know that Elizabeth Berkley can sing. I have seen her on talk shows talking about it. so i dont think thats the reason.

Well what I want to know is how come Kelly is worse than tonedeaf in the Miss Bayside pageant and then about a year later singing her heart out with great skill and precision.
That reminds me of an interesting tidbit I read on the web somewhere which I wonder if it's true, apparantly in California Dreams all of the actors really did their own singing and playing. This could very well be true because about a year after Heidi-Noelle Lenheart (Jenny) left the show I saw her on TV singing in Beauty and the Beast for a figure skating show.

well as we already know the writers didnt do a very good job of carring out story lines. but when kelly does sing later its not her real voice. the only episdoe she really sang in was the "jessies song" episode. i thought that they all could sing on california dreams. your probably right about that. i never new that girl played in beauty and the beast on ice. i saw that a long time ago, i wonder if i saw her! |

To be honest...when I saw the "jessie's song" episode recently...her voice was quite noticeable during all of the "Hot sundae" songs...either she WAS infact singing or they found someone who had a near identical voice to record the songs...
