That's freaky, Barb! Sounds more like a prison. I see footage of some schools in the US which have metal detectors and everything and its such a pity that kind of thing is necessary. Obviously some of the stories you read in the news show bad things can and do happen.
They have a buzzer on the school that I work at, but that's mostly to keep the kids in! Some of them are really little (3 or 4) and would probably go off with a stranger - I doubt there's much risk of them carrying guns. Not real ones anyway!
How did I get on to this - anyway, Mark-Paul and Tiffani - yeah it's a shame they aren't still in contact but its completely understandable. As I've got older I've realised that these things happen, and you might not be in contact with people all the time even if you are still really good friends.

When I was in high school, we had lockers, school bags and a binder for each class. Barb, I was actually shocked by reading your post!  You actually had a cop at your school everyday? I understand that you said it was for security reasons, but still, wow! In my 4 years of high school, we had a cop at our school once to pick up some girl who beat the crap out of some other girl. No weapons other then body parts were ever involved any school fights I saw. PC, why didn't you have any lockers? |

Lockers just aren't the norm here - in high school there are sometimes lockers for your use in the classroom where you register in the morning and afternoon, but you only go there those two times a day so its inpractical to keep books in there. As a general rule i suppose it's because we have 8 classes a day, if people had time to go to their lockers in between every lesson we'd never have got anything done!

yeah... i live in the States and we have lockers but we cant have zip-up binders or carry bookbags. u can carry a purse as long as you dont put books in it then it becomes a bookbag... we have a cop at our school at all times (actually 3) and we have to go through metal detectors when coming into the school. also they closed off all doors into the school cept 2 the main front door and the main back door off the sophomore hall.
this is a result of a shooting that happened at one of the other schools in the district. i dont go to a bad school tho... we're actually known as the "preppy school"

i'm not entirely sure but i thought i read somewhere that tiffani is one of mark-paul's closest friends. they used to date whilst on the show together but mark-paul admitted in an interview that before he met his wife, he used to be lucky in relationships because whenever he broke up with a girl, they would remain very close friends. hopefully thats the case with him and tiffani

Mark paul taught Tiffini how to smoke ciggarettes, i read that on tiffinis site in an interview. I think she still smokes too! I kinda can see though why they dont talk at all anymore. I mean when you do a show, you are forced to be with the cast. But when its all over, its completely up to you to try and go out of your way to see them. And i bet each of them have very busy schedules too, so you really would have to have a special bond with the person to actually call them up and hang out, and i just dont think any of them had that when the show ended.  It really looked like on the set that they had so much fun with eachother, i just cant believe they werent special friends forever, they seemed like they had so much fun on SBTB !!! |

I remember years ago seeing Elizabeth in an interview and she said that she doesn't keep in touch with the cast. She said it is simply because they were kids when they did the show and then they just went their seperate ways. She did say that if she were to bump into any of them, she would be happy to see them.

I guess she quit smoking about a year or two ago, but I can't remember where I read that. As for the cast, they were like your high school friends...you see them everyday cause you have to and it's easy for you to, but once you go your seperate ways it's just not that easy and you make new friends so you tend to lose touch with the old. It sounds like a few of them keep in touch with each other, but that's about it. It sounds like Dennis and Dustin are the closest of the bunch, then by the sounds of it Mark-Paul and Mario keep in touch with the guys too. I never hear about any of the girls keeping in touch... |

yes tiffani did say she quit a while ago! i think it was in some article.
i can understand why they dont talk that much anymore. once you dont see someone everyday and lose touch its hard to get back into calling the person and making plans. plus thier lives are so busy.

I'm just glad they got along so well on the show and that the reason why they have gone their seperate ways is because they just grew apart. There is no bad blood or feuding between then.  Yes, Mark-Paul did teach Tiffani how to smoke, but she said she got caught by her mom one day and blamed it on him. lol Thankfully, Mark-Paul quit, I don't know how long ago and Tiffani quit a couple of years ago. As far as I know, none of the other cast members smoke. |

They reunited for Details magazine. Im lovin the new pic its sooo cute! Unfortunately I cant find the magazine anywhere to read the article. Every store Ive gone too only has last months issue...boooo! I'll keep tryin...Has anyone seen the article yet?
