I was recently talking to a researcher that was investigating how much "fandom" affects people's lives - i.e. do some people become so obsessed that they believe they are married to their favourite actor, etc? Anyway, it got me thinking... we all here are clearly completely crazy SBTB fans - but how involved are we in the show?

1. How much time do you spend per week watching SBTB? Maybe an hour, sometimes not even that. Sometimes I go through spurts that I watch a couple episodes before I go to bed every night. (I take turns with my different tv show box sets)

2. How much time do you spend per week thinking about SBTB (surfing/designing SBTB-related websites, reading SBTB info on forums, chatting about the show, looking at photos, etc)? Too much. LOL ...Seriously, probably 5-15 hours a week. Sometimes more if I'm busy updating my site or creating graphics...or if there's trouble here at the forum. LOL

3. Have you ever dreamt about the show or one of its stars? (Please divulge juicy details if so!) I have had dreams, but nothing special I don't think. I always have weird dreams and a couple times it's had one of the actors. Oh, and one time I dreamt that I went to school with them...but that was a long time ago. (I probably shouldn't watch the show right before I go to bed LOL)

4. Was a SBTB character your first love/crush? Which? Yep, LOL...Mark-Paul

5. Hypothetically speaking, if your favourite member of the cast proposed to you right now, would you marry them? No way, I have a guy....and even if I didn't that would be toooo weird, and they're too old for me.

6. On a scale of zero to too much, how much money have you spent on SBTB in total (DVDs, merchandise, hosting, magazines, etc)? haha Too much. Probably about $300-500. Yikes. And if you count the gas money and tickets to go see Dennis then you can add an extra $100 LOL

7. What's your weirdest or most treasured item of merchandise from the show? My dvds...I don't have extended cable right now so that's the only way I get to see the show.

8. Do your friends and family (in real life) know the extent of your fandom, i.e. how much time/money you've invested in it? Ummm...I don't know if they know how much money I've spent. And I don't know if they know how much I spend online just for SBTB, but they definitely know I am obsessed.

9. Do they think you're crazy? I just don't think they understand cause they're not fans of the show themselves. If it was a modern show they probably wouldn't think anything of it.

10. How long have you been a fan of SBTB? LOL Since before I was in school...I was probably 3 or 4 when I started watching.

11. Do you like any other show as much as you like SBTB? Yeah, but I know the most about SBTB and the whole history...I'm more interested in knowing everything about it. I just watch those shows, I don't really look up information or anything like that. I don't go to forums and spend my days talking about them.

12. Have you ever quoted a SBTB script in real life? Haha Yeah, kinda. Not on a daily basis or anything. Sometimes I'll say something not really thinking anything of it, and I catch myself. Like I'll be joking around if I'm excited about something and I'll start singing "I'm so excited, I'm so excited..." But no one knows what I'm singing, so it's all good, and that's the only part I sing...so it's not that bad (right? lol).

13. Can you name all of the 8 Dorks? Slater was Studly.There was Slimey, Dopey, Geeky, Nerdy, Dweeby...haha I don't know who else, only missing 2.

14. Have you or would you ever name your child/pet after one of the characters/actors? I would if people didn't realize the connection LOL I just wouldn't go for Albert Clifford LOL But, not because of SBTB...growing up I became fond of the names Zack and Kelly...and I like the name Jessica.

15. If the writers of the show ever made a decision you disagreed with (i.e. ended a great relationship or cast a bad character), did it REALLY make you annoyed? Nothing really annoyed me to the point that would make me want to write them or anything. But I really don't like Tori...or Jeff. But she kept the show going and he gave us some of my favorite episodes.

Ok, I'm obsessed. Do I mind? Nope. Not one bit...it's what I do best. ;D
