I made a decision. I loved Season 2's opener....I really enjoyed seeing Slater and Jessie get together ...it was cute. And Kelly picking Zack over Slater is very memorable!

The fight sort of took the show to a new level. It introduced serious violence. Not just a punch from Jessie, nothing like that. A real fight with violence. I mean, it wasn't anything EXTREME, but it was pretty serious...

Well I guess it did introduce violence...but as a kid watching the episode then it kind of made me feel sad because we grew to love slater and zack as friends. And to see them fight was weird to watch...but it is a great episode..it comes close second for me! I remember really admiring them then...they were all so grown up by this time! And to see them as seniors was like "wow"! LoL

See, that's why I love Saved by the Bell. It isn't a story based show so much as a character based one. If you ask people what they remember from the show or take away from it. You won't hear "Not to do drugs" or "Don't drink and drive". Why? Because people are so wrapped up in the characters, that this is they are the first things that come to mind.
Don't get me wrong, this isn't a bad thing. It is actually a great thing. Not many tv shows can be so flexible, have so many holes in their plot lines and timeline while still succeeding. Why? Because there was a brilliant cast that brought these, dare I say, even more brilliant characters to the screen every Saturday morning for 5 years. Characters we grew to love and care for. If you were anything like me... you weren't watching so much for the 'episode plot' as you were for the character development.
I'm not saying the storyline/plots were horrible either. Hey, I loved watching Zack persue Kelly & the entire beach mini-series but when it all came down to it, I liked the small moments that defined the characters. The moments that really made you go "That's Zack Morris" or "That's Screech Powers!". Not "Hey there's Dustin Diamond". Anyways, I just loved watching the characters grow, mature, and become true friends forever.
