I thought Zack and Lisa had the best on-screen chemistry (I know this is because they were dating in reality). Shame their on-screen romance only lasted one episode.

THANK YOU!! i totally agree with you!! My favorite couples in order: 1. Zack & Lisa- I LOOOOVED them as a couple, they were so gorgeous together! so hawt! and if you look at old episodes such as "Operation Zack" you can feel the chemistry between them. In real life they had better chemistry than all of the other cast members, from ( '89-92, the longest and most serious relationship) I hated that the only romantic link we seen of them on the show is "The Bayside Triangle", i wish i could have seen more of their relationship on-screen. Lisa should have been Mrs. Zack Morris! 2. Screech & Kelly- Another romance that only lasted for one episode that i desperately wanted to see more of. You can tell that Kelly really liked Screech, she accepted him just the way he was, It added depth to her character, showing that even the most popular cheerleader in school doesn't have to be shallow and superficial when it comes to potential love. She wasn't ashamed to let it be known that she was SPRUNG off of him either. Kelly was visibly upset to have find out that they had little to nothing in common. Don't opposites attract anyway??? Call me strange but I think Kelly still likes Screech to this day! Don't believe me look at the later episodes........ 3. Zack & Wendy (The over-weight girl from 'Date Auction')- A secondary character from the show who i would have loved to see Zack go steady with. At first he wasn't accepting of her weight but by the end of the show, he opened up his mind and realized that you should accept people for what they are on the inside, not the outside, there were too many episodes when Zack went after girls based on their looks or their social status, it would have been refreshing to see Zack date a girl who was so different physically and socially as the ones he went after. Maybe he would have found out that he and Wendy in fact had much more in common than he realized and was compatible in personality, and fell in love with her, (it may not have last very long) but i would have LOVED to see that potential romance explored more. |

Even though I'm a Zack/Kelly fan, I do agree that Lisa/Zack should have been explored beyond the one episode. I don't agree however that Lisa should have been the one to marry Zack. It was eventually going to be Zack/Kelly that ended up together, that was the way it was meant to be. Zack always loved her, even when they weren't together. And regarding Screech/Kelly, I didn't see where she showed any romantic interest in him after that one episode. Didn't see any signs of that. JMO!

Zack always loved her, even when they weren't together. That's how the producers/writers WANTED it to be from the beginning which is BULL! They had an agenda, and that was definitly it for some reason. NBC was afraid that if they continued with the storyline with Zack and Lisa, than Zack would forget all about Kelly, (which he would, Lisa had spunk, attitude, flair, style, and not to menion that she's DROP DEAD GORGOUS! no wonder why Screech was stalking her every chance he got!) hell, Zack forgot all about his best frined's feelings! and the college years was in cancellation and they had to have an ending going out with a BANG!, that's the REAL REASON on why Kelly and Zack eventually got married. The wedding was rushed and forced and only a fool would deny that. Let's face it, Kelly didn't REALLY love Zack all that much, and the only reason she started going out with him was because she gave-in to his obsession and chasing after her, (which was only based on superficiality, the idea of getting with the most popular head cheerleader in school, Zack was INFATUATED with her, it wasn't about love, their relationship had no real depth from the get-go that's why it never lasted) plus between him and Slater, he was probably lesser than the 2 evils anyway so she just went on and made a choice. i think she kinda felt sorry for the guy really. And even after that when something better came along she cheated on Zack with Jeff! Whoa, to be crowned the 'Golden Couple' (what a laugh!) she sure as hell got over Zack quickly!! Even had the gull to show and flaunt her new boyfriend right in front of his face right after! And during the college years when she was dating the Professor the pathetic sap was STILL doing everything he can to get Kelly back, and she still wasn't interested! "Dude, can't you take the hint that she's just not that into you???" The only reason she got back together with Zack at the end was because the Professor dumped and dissed her and Zack was just the rebound guy. Even after they got married the marriage was a failure anyway because she later left Zack for Jeff.............AGAIN!! [And regarding Screech/Kelly, I didn't see where she showed any romantic interest in him after that one episode. Didn't see any signs of that. JMO! I was ROLLIN when Zack and Slater was fightin over her, she don't want neither of you CLOWNS, she wants Screech! LOL, I loved the part when Kelly had that sparkle in her eye, that glaze in her look, describing Screech as intelligent, what a great guy he is , and what a great personality he has, she couldn't even THINK straight, she even had on mis-matched clothes, that's how love-sick she was over Screech! (SHE NEVER SHOWN THIS MUCH DESIRE TOWARDS ZACK! EVER!! LOL) I just wished that Screech would wake the eff up and get over Lisa and realize that he has an attractive, sweet, the most POPULAR girl interested in him, was he crazy?? Who cares if you two don't have much in common at the beginning, that's the BEAUTY of a relationship! Don't opposites attract anyway?? That's where it becomes interesting and you actually learn something new about each other as it progresses! Him and Lisa had absolutely NOTHING in common either but that didn't stop him from chasing after her every chance he got!! (but i can understand that) When the potential romance ended, you can tell that Kelly was visibly upset, and she still liked him even after that! (Don't believe me, catch lil hints in other episodes) I don't think that her defending him when others would put him down and being overly nice to him was because of her sweet nature, she still liked him, wake up people!! In conclusion, Screech should have been Mr. Kelly Kapowski!!! |

For me it has to be Slater and Jessie.
I love the fact that they were so opposite to each other. They never would have gone for the type of the other one, but just couldn''t help being attracted to each other.
Yes they might have been wrong for each other, in the sense that they were to opposite. But they were right for each other when it was just the two of them with none of the gang near by.
But i do see a difference when they were on their own. I find when they were just the two of them, Slater seems more serious and not such a macho. And Jessie was more fun, and did enjoy Slater being the Macho guy. In private Jessie did feel more beautiful and attractive and enjoyed it when Slater was being himself, and he loved how headstrong and moral Jessie was.
I think both their character traits came out in the wrong way, when they were together with their friends.
