Think they'll release the SbtB spin-offs on DVD after the original series is out? The College Years and The New Class must have some fans that would want them. ^^

I have a feeling that the 5th season Lion's Gate is talking about when they said sbtb was on for 5 seasons is the COLLEGE YEARS. I doubt they will release The New Class. It was popular, but not as much of an icon as SBTB was... M

I agree. I really love The College Years just as much. When SBTB was coming to an end, I really didn't want it to. So I was very grateful to that they decided to make the College Years! ;D I still remember that Tuesday night when it first aired....I was very anxious to see it. I recorded it and made it a Blockbuster night for my little young self! What show now a days makes a young kid do that?? lol I hope it comes to DVD, as well. We'll just have to wait and see!

I think when they say fifth season they are talking about Good Morning Miss Bliss because it was renamed Saved By The Bell: Junior High Years after the first season of SBTB came on NBC. I think that they will release the college years but not the new class becuase every website i have checked out about sbtb hated this show. Alot of people dont like it becuase it tried to hard to like the original. I hope they release the movies on dvd as well.

I really hope that Lions Gate releases both The College Years and Good Morning Miss Bliss seasons. Sure, they're easy to download and burn, but I'd be willing to pay for DVD quality, of course!

I don't think Lion's Gate has the DVD rights to Good Morning Miss Blliss. Even though it was later repackaged as SBTB early episodes and syndicated along with the SBTB ep's, the original GMMB episodes were actually made by Disney. When it failed on their Disney Channel, NBC picked it up and moved the setting to California, and the rest is history. Disney may have licensed the syndication rights to the GMMB eps, but that doesn't mean they've licensed the home video rights or the digital rights. I imagine that is why Lion's Gate is being very up-front about "no GMMB eps" in this package. I'm sure the 5th season is The College Years; it's a natch. If it all sells well, and it looks like it's gonna, then I'm sure someone will get GMMB out on DVD sooner or later. I'm not sure who, but it'll be a natural capitalization of assets.

You think to much. Who cares who has the rights! Those of us who love SBTB are just glad its coming on DVD. I dont know a lot of people who like GMMB anyways.

By the way, do you work for Disney? Cause if not they should employ as thier advocate.

I think I was one of the few who couldn't stand The College Years. Of course I was excited when it first came on, but it lost me after awhile. Then they started changing times and nights and stuff. I was glad I checked the TV Guide the week Lark came back otherwise I would have missed that one.

I was`nt to big on the college years eithier but they gave an end to the Zach and Kelly story so I appreciate the show for that reason only.

I thought the Zack/Kelly story already had an end when they broke up. But then again, there was that one time thing at the prom.

Secondly, that's the David Lambert (see him in action at www.hometheaterforum.com or http://www.tvshowsondvd.com) you're talking to -- show some respect, man!
