Just picked it up from Sam Goody of all places for $34.99. The packaging is nice enough, but it needs a sleeve. The DVD sticker over the top of the binding tore some of the yellow off the front and back cover of my DVD I like the menu, but for God's sake, give us at least one chapter stop -- right after the theme song. I will grow tired of manually fast-forwarding through the theme song each time. I'm watching "Dancing to the Max" now, but the more I think about it, the more I want to watch these episodes in chronological order rather than airdate order. Is there a good guide out there that would give me the episodes in production order? Overall, happy camper so far.

I got mine today and ruined the top front from the sticker like everybody else, and Im debating to exchange it......
but anyways, I have a question... how come we dont get all of season 2? there were like at least 3 episodes missing like, Breaking up is hard to undo, and the Glee Clup, or Snowwhite and the seven dorks, or even the Belding Boys episode.... where are these?

According to Erika who got her info from Lion's Gate, they reported that the Ep guides aren't necessarily correct. Honestly it bugged me too at first, but I don't care anymore. The already visible success of this set will show them that there is money to be made. We'll get all the eps soon I'm sure. I also think that later sets will have special features because of the same reason. Right now I'm enjoying mine. I love the picture quality/transfer. Matt

Matt, I hate to correct you, but your statement is not necessarily true.. Lions Gate is releasing them in airing order, yes, but they were filmed to be in a different order. Or else, explain to me why the pilot (introducing the new characters) is towards the end of season one?? If anyone wants the orignal order, e-mail me at mysticon@aol.com and I will send it to you. (I got the production order direct from NBC themselves.) All in all, a great set though.

I plan on putting together a little booklet with graphics, episode descriptions, and production order #s. It will fit nicely into that little spot in the package. And yes, unfortunately, some of the top of mine came off with the sticker. Great idea, putting it right on the package. It's pretty irrelevant, though, 33 episodes on DVD. Rock on! I plan on going through the episodes and comparing what additional content there is on the DVDs that are lost in the syndication (which only run 22:07 on TBS, minus commercials) - maybe nothing, maybe something. Hopefully, extras, sticker outside the wrapper, and better disc art for the next volume. It'd be super-cool if they got it ASAP, but I imagine it will be a few months, at least. I won't mind waiting a little bit if it means extras and better design.

Rod--
I sloppily wrote down the production order on a Post-It note and slipped into the nice slot for the booklet. But, like you, I think I'll break out Photoshop and Illustrator and make up a nice little booklet, listing the episodes in production order.
Hopefully, some brave and talented soul can make up sort of an "official" full color booklet with episodes in production order that we can use to put in the open slot for one. Anyone up to the task?

This is probably pretty irrevelant to the topic, but aren't those all of the episodes from Season 2? I remember when Mark-Paul was on the Wayne Brady show and he said that he broke his neck (or something along the lines of that) preparing for 'Circus of the Stars', and they had to stop production for about six months or so. I just thought that maybe that's when he did it, and when they started production again, they just started Season 3. Besides, don't they all look way older starting with those episodes?
I had to go to three stores this morning just to find it. I went to Target and it was sold out, I went to the DVDPlanet.com store and it was sold out there too. I finally went to Best Buy and they only had a few left. I finally got it, thank God.
I love how some of the episodes have the original opening credits. I'm thinking that the ones with the original credits have some scenes that are cut out of the syndication versions. Those are the only ones I have watched so far, so I'm not sure if the ones with the syndication opening credits have any of the original scenes left in them.

Hmm...original opening credits? How is it different from the syndicated opening credits? I watched 4 episodes tonight and it all seemed to be the 1-minute opening that plays before all of the episodes (well, Ed Alonzo being the exception) of the main 6 gang when they air on TBS.

Some of them have a different version of the theme with different pictures and other ones just have different pictures. They're sporadically placed... I know that one of them is the Miss Bayside episode.

Thanks for the info. I'll look for them. I've only watched 5 episodes so far. But still, I think we're all in some kind of Bayside heaven.
