When I was watching the STBT on DVD, I noticed that they have 2 different opening credit with different singers and pictures. I also noticed scenes that weren't on tv and now it was on DVD. I'm not complaining about it. Probably syndication cut it. Oh well I'm just happy to have it like it was showed the first time it hit the airwaves

I was just coming here to see if anyone else noticed the cut scenes!! I didn't get into SBTS until it was in syndication so I never saw them when they first aired. I was watching "Save The Max" and when the scene between Max and Slater came on I was like "Dude that's not on the t.v. version!!"
It is so sweet to have these back to the way they were originally!! I am also greatful to have such cool people to share my joy with!! ;D

There are 33 episodes on the set.
Anyhow, "The Friendship Business" was just airing, and I happened to have the DVDs right next to the TV, so I did a compare. Not only was the DVD version like a million times clearer and more vibrant, but there was like at least 2 minutes of stuff that was cut from the TBS airing. Only thing is when doing an A/B compare, the DVD volume is much lower than the broadcast volume; but that's true of all DVDs, since they have a greater range for volume.
The point is...the DVDs rock. They can do better with the rest of the sets, but it's still just awesome to have the full episodes in DVD quality.

I too was blown away by the clearity and the vibrant colors of the DVD!! I have to say though when it first came on and the screen was kinda dark I thought they messed something up but it was just the opening to the menus ;D

That operating scene on the "Nurse To Worse" episode on the DVD isn't on the syndicated version of the episode. So yeah, that part was a deleted scene.
