The following is a message I intend to send to Lions Gate. Please tell me if I left something out as I want to include all complaints and concerns.
Dear Lions Gate,
While we are grateful for Saved By The Bell being brought to dvd we feel as if there needs to be a few changes made to any further sets.
1. The placement of the security sticker caused many of the dvd cases to peel or dicolour.
2. The episodes were in airdate order. As fans, we are most familiar and appreciate production order the best.
3. There were no special features. We would love special features to be on the next set. This could include past commercials of the show, interviews with cast members, commentaries. Anything that could give us insight or a behind the scenes view is what we want to see.
4. Being huge fans we would like to see all of the episodes with thier oringinal begining. This may be only one miniute of a thirty miniute show but it is important to us for nastalgic meaning.
5. We would like an episode guide booklet included with the set. This is both helpful and a nice thing to have.
6. As you can tell by the sales of this dvd (it has recently been in the top 50 on Amazon) there are many Saved By The Bell fans. Many devoted fans have tried thier best to spread the word about this dvd. We have posted Erika`s banner on our websites, posted messages at Saved By The Bell clubs, spoken to our friends, sent e-mails to our friends, in any way possible we have tried to spread the word about this dvd because we are both true fans and excited about the dvd and we would appreciate a little appreciation by providing Erika with sound clips, pictures, anything that you can provide to give us insight on the next dvd set. The more excite we are the more we start talking.
These are not just my concerns but a majority of the fans concerns. I have compiled these complaints from The Saved By The Bell Now Forum. Saved By The Bell Now is the site created by Erika that you chose to be the official home of the dvd. At this forum many Saved By The Bell fans have expressed thier opinions on the dvd. I believe as a company your customers should go first. Please take the time to read through this forum and read for yourselves what we have to say in our own words. We would appreciate any changes that could be made and look forward to the next boxed set of Saved By The Bell.
Okay, how was that? Lets get this thing started. Send your own complaints to Lions Gate. Lets flood thier e-mail system with so many e-mails that they have to take us seriously. Do you really want the next dvd set to be the same? If we make this work then when you purchase the next set you can see the changes and think to yourself I helped change that. Take pride in the fact that you have an opinion and you can share it if you wnat to. Spread those dvd disapoinments and angry feelings straight towards Lions Gate. We are the fans. They made this dvd for us. I feel we have the upperhand in this. Lets use that upperhand and complain straight towards Lions Gate!
