Hey...I wanna know if anyone has played the SBTB on dvd on they're comp dvd player. I have InterActual Player and its sooo wierd...its shows more of the screen than the dvd regualrly shows on a TV. Like in one scene you can see a microphone up top...and another you can see where Belding's office ends and Zack is standing on the other side....its sooo wierd..I want to know if anyone else's dvd player does this.TEXT

Try the episode, "Model Students"...thats where you see the microphone....right when Zack walks into the school store you see the microphone at the top. Then...after the nerds are being talked to by Mr. B...when they head over to the door...you can see the set end...and you can see ZAck waiting for them to exiut on the other side.

You're not seeing more than the television, it's just that watching on a computer, there's no OVERSCAN. On normal TV sets, OVERSCAN accounts for missing around 2-5% of the picture (the edges). This is because the picture tube gradually shrinks over time, so rather than having that happen, the edges of the picture are covered by the TV set, so that even if the picture tube shrinks noticeably, it will remain unnoticeable, since the edges will just be less cut off. It sounds stupid, and the picture-shrinkage is probably archaic, but them's the facts, Jack. (Probably far more than you wanted to know.)

Head's up, boys and girls! I think that TVShowsOnDVD will have some news about new DVDs of Saved By The Bell either later today or tomorrow. Hint: You'll have about 12-13 weeks to save up about $35-$45. Keep an eye on us for the details! ;D

Hey! DIGITAL BITS.COM is listing this as well. We have yet to hear from tvshowsondvd.com (Gord, the owner has no word on it, he is surprised by the info as well). I guess we'll have to wait it out a little longer. I'm for one totally excited. ...I want details... Matt
