Wow... just wow. Can this cover get ANY worse? I will seriously send Lions Gate some Hate Mail. It would be my first time sending Hate Mail, but I doubt I will have trouble. Seriously though, WHAT THE HELL?! No Elizabeth? And why the heck not? She was still involved in Season 5. And you're right, that is Tori's head pasted on Elizabeth's body. WHAT THE HELL?!

My take about the cover was they used the cast that was in season 5, but Tiffani wasn't in the whole season. What they should have done was put everyone on it. That's just my opinion, but they totally messed it up I agree.

The cover art I submitted for the contest had all of them on it. It's unbelievable that they pasted Tori's head on Elizabeth's body.  |

What about that DVD cover contest? I'm sure that whoever submitted an entry did a better job than Lions Gate. Dennis Haskins' paste job looks a lot like the one used in the Seasons 3/4 pack. Maybe it's the same one. The shoulders look off though so they probably pasted a whole layered set. Not good craftsmanship, in my opinion.
Ironically enough, Jessie doesn't appear in the cover but Kelly does... next to Tori?? They were never together in any episodes! If they're going to include the cast, then include ALL the cast! This kind of reminds me of the episode where Belding's face was put on Jessie's body, only this time, it's Tori!

OK I have controlled my emotions. And I wrote an email to them. and here it is! To whom it may concern,
Saved by the Bell fans have just been revealed the cover art for the Season 5 DVD cover. Although we respect the efforts putting this DVD together, we are extremely outraged by the lack of professionalism that has been put forth creating the new DVD cover. First and foremost, we are extremely upset Elizabeth Berkley is not included. Secondly, Dennis Haskin's face has been cropped and pasted inappropriately in the picture. And thirdly, fans do recognize the fact that Leanna Creel's face has been brutally slapped on Elizabeth Berkley's body. Fans are not fools, and we are being treated as such. We do notice the resourceful image creativity that was done with this cover and we are insulted by it. We feel the show, the cast members, the NBC network, the fans and all the others that were involved with this show deserve much more decency, respect and quality from your multi million dollar company and your efforts to produce this DVD onto the market. This is a complete atrocity, and we are thankful that this is the last set Lions Gate makes of this show, so we are guaranteed we will have no more of your sloppy craftsmanship. We insist changes should be made. If not, the SBTB community will pass on this set. |

I know that sounds stupid, but think about it... I'm glad you signed it with "the sbtb community," it should be that way. You know they have pictures of the whole cast together...and if for some very strange reason they don't...if they could paste Dennis in there, why couldn't they paste Elizabeth in there? They are taken us for granted. Do they not realize that fans know their favorite shows inside and out, and that includes pictures out there. At first I was thrilled to see the cover art because it was a new cast picture for me, but then I quikly began to notice things. I noticed Dennis' head again, and then I noticed Jessie was gone, and then I realized Tori would never wear that outfit and quickly after realizing that I knew I had seen that sweater on Jessie before. Not to mention the body was not proportioned to what Tori's body was lol We're not dumb. And those are a lot of big mistakes put into a DVD cover. You're right, if they don't fix it I won't be buying it. I want something made for the fans, something I can be proud to own. You know, memorablia...not something that doesn't symbolize my favorite show. Ok, I'm done. |

It's just a thought. Hides head from behind hit. I'm sure it doesn't really matter what she thinks. She signed a contract with NBC, and it somehow probably includes stuff like this. |

But she truly is so glad to have had the experience. Please don't get that impression....she aknowledges and says so many nice things about SBTB and her cast member friends. |

Barb you have to do what you have to do and what has to be right. Just a hypethetical question, would you lose respect for the people that will buy it even if they don't fix the cover?
