I finally got Season 5 yesterday!!!! I have to see that I am very impressed! On the third disc I skipped right to the documentary. I think that blonde was trying to make a point, but wasn't quite sure what she wanted to say. So she decided to use the word "kinda" about 50 times. lol I like what they called the documentary in referring to SBTB, "From sitcom to icon" and that is exactly what it is! My favorite part was just listening to the people that worked on the show talk about it. They truly love the work they did and were dedicated to making this show for teens and having this show be something that every teen can relate in one way or another. And it worked! I love what Peter said about every episode. Well, the music store that I usually get my box sets from didn't even order Season 5! I was mad. So I decided to go to some other stores and the store I found it at was a store I'm not to crazy about. I went to Future Shop, went right to the DVD section and found the only copy that was there. I snatched it up, but I didn't have any cash on me, so I waited patiently for someone to come over so I could have it set aside for me until I could pay for it later yesterday. Well I waited about 5 min, while I watched employees walking around ignoring me. Finally after about 5 or 10 min, some guy noticed me standing there, and I got this vibe from him that he didn't want to deal with me because I was only buying a DVD box set. Well He put it aside for me, and my ride came to get me about 10 min later and gave me the money to buy it. I went back in and one of the employees was at the DVD section and I told him what I had put aside for me, and when he found it, he gave it to me. But I could tell by the look on his face he didn't know why I wanted this! The same thing happened at the cash registered! The guy was like hi how are ya, then he looked at what I was purchasing, then I was being treated like I was strange! I don't care what they thought! And not all the employees there are like that. I'm just glad I got my season 5!

QueenKelly, sorry to hear it's that hard to get a copy of SBTB where you live. It's actually really easy to buy here in California. New DVDs are released every Tuesday, and the stores like BestBuy, Circuit City, Target post new releases on sale that same week so I normally get it when they come out, or else i have to wait a long time for it to go on sale again.
i TOTALLY know what u mean by ppl looking at you strangly by buying SBTB. My friends all think i'm weird for still having infactuation w/ Zack Morris though now we're in our mid 20s!! =)

cindyh, Actually, it really isn't hard to buy DVD box sets of any kind where I live. The store I usually get them from, because of the great service, for some reason never ordered it. They had The College years there. I don't know why they didn't have season 5 on order. I'm puzzled by that. So I went to Future Shop which is a store that sells all kinds of electronics and they have a section of all kinds of DVD's. That's where I got my first two box sets. When I bought them there I went to the cash and a wonderful woman looked at the Box set I was buying, and she told me her and her daughter love the show! In the case of season 5, it was just a couple of jerks. I know people have a tendancy to look at me being in my twenties and stil loving the show. But I don't care. You can only imagine how I felt when I came across this site dedicated to my favorite teen show, and finding out that there are people of all ages here! I think I'm the second oldest at 27!

When I bought the DVD of "Der Untergang"(or Downfall as its called in the states) from Germany on Ebay in April, it ended up being 29 Euros, which cost me $37!

Sometimes I order some things in the USA, or my dad brings me something (He has to go there quite often for his job) and it's getting cheaper and cheaper ;D (Dutch stuff is way too expensive though, we used to have the 'gulden' which had half the value of the euro. A lot of things are still as 'expensive', ie what was five 'guldne' is five 'euro'. Real bad.

Queen Kelly, I got that same weird look when I purchased my dvd at Best Buy. For some reason SBTB doesn't get the credit that it deserves. At least we can come to a place like this forum, where we can relate to others about the show. Who cares about what others think of the show. We all know here that the world would be a sad place without SBTB.

I ordered it online specifically to avoid those weird looks from cashiers. In real life there are only a few people that know I'm still a fan of the show in my 20's.
SBTB really has gulity pleasure status because it's so cheesy. I think about the grief that I gave to a couple of guy friends back in the day for buying the Spice Girls CD and I realize that it would be best to keep my SBTB love under wraps.
But that fact is that the show is 15 years old and is still playing in syndication. The advertising dollars are there because people are still watching it. They just won't admit it :-)

Usually I wouldn't spend $37.00 on a DVD, but the movie was the best World War 2 movie I've ever seen(Better than Saving Private Ryan), and being the History buff I am(getting a degree in it in college), I know that it'll probably come in handy for a history class later on
