Hi everyone! I'm new here and I've been reading around and was wondering the quality of the dvd set. I was planning on getting it and I've been reading that there's some episodes missing and scenes missing. So my question is: 1) What is ur suggestion? is it worth getting? 2) How many episodes and scenes are missing? 3) Is the palm springs episodes on it as well as the malibu episodes and finally, 4) How many dvd's disc come in each set? I really hope someone can answer this for me and if this has already been asked I apologize in advance Thanks

The College Years set is complete in its entirety though. 3) Yes, they're on the Seasons 3 & 4 set. 4) - Seasons 1 & 2 have 5 Discs (no extras)
- Seasons 3 & 4 have 4 Discs (includes commentaries)
- Season 5 has 3 Discs (includes very short documentary).
- The College Years has 3 Discs (no extras)
Any other questions, feel free to ask. And by the way, WELCOME! ;D

I bought most of mine from Deep Discount DVD (http://www.deepdiscountdvd.com/), they almost always have the best prices and they have free shipping. ;D

Also recommend the New Class seasons. All episodes are complete and the quality is first class. Going back to the original series, there is quite a chunk of scenes deleted but at least there on DVD. Iam hoping they Image Entertainment get their hands on them and re-release them with all of the missing scenes in!

Iam hoping they Image Entertainment get their hands on them and re-release them with all of the missing scenes in! I highly doubt ANY studio company will re-release the DVD sets. With all the TV series being released on DVD now, it's more likely that these companies will be concentrating on releasing shows that are not on DVD yet rather than re-releasing shows that are already on sale. Besides, since SBTB was filmed over 15 years ago, it's likely that the footage that was released on DVD is the footage that was available to use. Besides, what would they call it? "Seasons 3 & 4, Version 2"? It hasn't happened yet, it probably won't, and I sure don't expect SBTB to be the first. As complete as they are, I still wouldn't recommend the New Class. To be honest, it was a second-rate show to begin with, and a scene-missing original series is a thousand times better than a complete New Class.
