I really enjoyed The Colleges Years. The outakes at the end are very amusing It was understandable that not all the gang would be at the same college, so you excepted the fact that Lisa and Jessie weren't there. I was dissapointed Jessie wasn't featured more in the wedding episode but I always thought that this was dues to Elizabeth's busy schedule(out of all of them I felt she had the most talent).

Yes, she was filming another movie the time of the filming of the Wedding. I also loved the College Years. I loved the new environment for all of the characters. I've noticed that most of the Zack & Kelly fans enjoy the College Years the most because many of the plot lines had to do with them. Am I right? I wish it could have lasted longer, but I guess with it ending the way it did we got to see Zack & Kelly get married. ;D Now that, was a bit of a disappointment for me. I still loved the wedding, but the actual wedding could have played a larger role in the movie and have it a tad bit more romantic. Heck, we didn't even get to see Zack & Kelly talk to each other or anything. OK, I'm done ranting.

Maybe it failed because it WAS not Saved By The Bell , not all the characters were there , maybe fans did not want to watch Half Saved By The Bell , including that fact that Series 1 of The New Class was airing around then , which is completley new , completley new characters!

I think it failed because the time change. If SBTB:TCY was set up like Friends maybe it will work.

It's funny. I just got through watching all of the episodes on DVD and was amazed at how I liked the show even more now than when I was younger. Maybe it's the fact that I've had my own college experiences now and could relate to the characters' plights better. Maybe that was big factor in the show's demise. A lot more people could relate to life in highschool than a big university.

I loved it as a kid, but now that i can connect with them on a High School level, it makes the show so much better for me

In my opinion now, I think it did fail but not total disaster because at least at the end, Zack and Kelly got married and thats like the fare well good bye from them to the fans because all of them were in the wedding ceremony. I think its a cute ending.

I really really loved 'The College Years" even if Elizabeth wasn't there. The gags and the jokes where often funnier than the original series (anyway I prefer the original) and Kiersten Warren was so much funny. I think the problem with that series is that it was shown on primetime. But I still love it some much, it was great. Sorry there were just 19 episodes! By the way, what happened to Anne Tremko? I've seen Kiersten in several movies (she was in the wedding scene of the tv movie) but Anne?? She was nice: I remember her in a tv movie with Kirk Cameron but that's all.

Hi everyone, I think this show failed for a number of reasons. 1, the time slot was not the best for this show. Second, viewership was not as high as SBTB the original series. Third, the show was competing against other programs that had a higher viewership.
I agree with some of you on the board that I would love to see Zack & Kelly and the gang in a different atmospere, whether it be a reunion show or the gang in their adult lives.
Take care everyone!! ;D

I hope they can get together again. Reunion show or just get together like what Beverly Hills 90210 did. I'm surprised Shannon Doherty showed at the reunion. However, Tiffani, Brian, and Tori did not attend the reunion.
