If only real college dorms look like the ones on TV...
anyone notice how college dorms on TV look really nice? in reality, dorms suck

I know what you mean...my dorm is big enough for a bunk bed, 2 desks, 2 dressers, a tv, a refrigerator, and 2 file cabinets...and some walking space. lol But you can pay extra and have rooms like on the show so it is possible. They're also ones that have everything an apartment does.  |

maybe the ones on the west coast...but i'm at the University of Virginia and all dorms suck. doesn't even have A/C

I live in Ohio...lol Maybe it's just your university. Even my school has air conditioning.

Well, not just your university lol...but it's not just on the west coast. It's just weird because my school is your average university. Here is mine. It's a virtual view of the dorms. I'm living at Kilcawley, your basic dorm. But the others like Weller (for Juniors and Seniors) are much better dorms. cc.ysu.edu/student-services/livingoncampus/houses/index.html |

At my school Lee University, you have two types of dorms. You have a choice between a big room and a community bathroom or a small room with your own bathroom. I chose the smal room because sharing a bathroom with 30 other people is just gross. Here is a link to where I live. It shows the outside and describes the inside. I love it there. He lived with two girls and another guy but the other guy was never there so he pretty much lived with the two girls. My school is a liberal christian university so we are`nt even allowed in each others dorms. It is very rare to find a co-ed dorm. |

Yeah...my school is pretty average. But there are a lot nicer ones....you usually have to pay more, being an honor student, or be an upperclassman. Very true. Our dorms are pretty average but if you play sports you get a livingroom, kitchenette and two bedrooms. It`s unbelievable how much better it is but they have to maintain a certain average and consistently meet different requirements to stay there. |

My roomie and I get our own kitchen, bathroom, and each get seperate rooms, and they offer it to freshman! It was definately my best bet.  |

I gotta applaud the college years cuz they never hit the subject of sex. I dont live at the dorms at my school but from what I seen, they are a sex pool!!!!!! If that was real life, i know that zack would be tryna get in2 kelly's pants since shes only 2 doors away. And you dont necessarily have to sleep in ur room in college. At my school the guys are on 1 floor and the girls are on another. That really dont mean nuttin. I've walked in2 rooms recently and seen a couple ON THE FLOOR. That show remained positive. Thats a good thing. Every1 breaks out they shell in college. Even screech coulda gotten sum if he wanted. Freaks are all over college. I know from my experiences |
