I mean we barely got to know Leslie and Alex! I admit the show was a little empty without Lisa, Jessie, And Belding, but They were smart not to bring them back! it would have been unrealistic. But Anyway, I Guess SBTB Just isn't meant for prime time Even now it's shown at like 5 AM who would be awake to watch it?

Didn't the show only last one season and go right to the wedding?

well they could have at least finished out the season and then do the movie. i think about 10 more episodes would have been good. like maybe a little longer engagement.

Well, if the show lasted longer they wouldn't have been engaged, at least not yet....but I would've liked them to date longer. You can definitely tell there was going to be a triangle situation with Laskey/Kelly/Zack.
I think it was good timing when they got cancelled though, because if there was no romantic interest between the two then the show would've ended incomplete. Like, let's say he was with Leslie...or dating random girls. So in a way I'm glad it ended when it did...
But I do wish it would've lasted longer. I loved the College Years, they were my favorite. I would've liked to see Zack and Kelly's relationship develop more romantically. They weren't as close as they should be...and she just told him she loved him. lol ...And financially they weren't ready for marriage and to move out...I mean Zack didn't have a job and Kelly said herself that she barely had enough to cover the cost of her books. lol

yeah agree barb! thats what i meant just in not so many words. lol i loved the college years too so i would have loved there to be more episodes. i mean like they could have been engaged for a few more episodes. i think going to vegas that quickly after they JUST got back together was a little quick. if they had more time i would have liked to see them be engaged a bit longer. and show them each have second thoughts and all that stuff. and show more of lasky being surprised. lol it jsut felt a bit rushed to me. but all together i like the way it ended.

I'm just throwing this out here, but do you think it would have been interesting to see Kelly and Slater hook up for a bit? Just have a story line where they kinda wonder what would have happened?

there actually was a book dealing with that. it was called best friends girl or something like that. that would have been an interesting storyline though. and watching zack freak out. lol

I always wish it would have gone longer, or what would have happened if Tiffani didn't come back and do TCY. Zack and Kelly probably wouldn't have ended up together. The reason that the relationship of Zack and Kelly seemed so rushed at the end was probably because the writers knew the show was cancelled and wasn't coming back, so they had to wrap it up with the "I love yous", proposal, one-episode engagement and the wedding movie. Of course, I would have loved to have seen Zack and Kelly's relationship grow a little more, but having been best friends for over 5/6 years, I don't think it needed to grow anymore from where it was at and they knew they were meant for each other. They now have the rest of their lives together to grow. Zack always loved Kelly and vice versa. They just had to go through some obstacles to finally get to where they ended up, but I am thrilled it ended the way it did with them getting married. As much as I would have loved to have seen more, I'm glad it ended the way it did!

I know I may catch heat for this but I will be honest as I always am. In terms of reality, I'm glad it ended there. Why? Because TAT needed to move on and landed the most important role of my life. BH90210 completely changed the direction of my life. I started watching it because of her and I will always be grateful for that reason. SBTB ran it's course. The CY were great! But would they have stayed great? Who knows... Season one ended quickly with the marriage but so did 90210 when David suddenly married Donna. yet juts like with SBTB it was a marriage that was meant to be. So it worked... 5 years is perfect for SBTB. By Season 4 Kelly and Jessie already wanted to leave. We got to watch them grow up and end nicely with the WILV movie. It was a solid movie and everyone came back for it. There lives were just going in different directions and so was mine. It was all meant to be and so it was.

I know I already gave my opinion here, but Dylan does have a good point. I'm a hardcore TAT fan, but I'm also a hardcore MPG fan and if TCY had continued, who knows how long it would have been before we saw him again.

And financially they weren't ready for marriage and to move out...I mean Zack didn't have a job and Kelly said herself that she barely had enough to cover the cost of her books. lol Easy solution: Their diet consists of nothing but tuna, beans and water. Financial problem solved! ;D
