Her name is Essence Atkins. She's done a number of guest appearances, including The Cosby Show and Sabrina. I don't know if you remember the show "Smart Guy?" It used to air on The WB then moved to Disney and it starred Tahj Mowry (he played Teddy on Full House, his sisters are Tia and Tamara from Sister, Sister)....but she played his older sister on that show. www.imdb.com/name/nm0040591/ |

I saw 'Smart Guy' a few times and never made the connection, but then she was only in TCY for one episode. Wasn't her characters name Danielle? I wonder why they never kept her on, or if she was just really an extra to fill the gap until Kelly came??

Kelly was able to come to Cal-U because there was an opening, because Danielle (you were right) left.  So if she stayed...there wouldn't have been room for her...and if it was someone else who left Cal-U then there wouldn't have been room for her in the suite. So I'm glad she left. LOL Her character was kinda dull. She barely had any lines in the episode she was in. |

yeah to me she seemed kind of like a lisa type character, Which has already been done. I do like alex and leslie just not as much as jessie and lisa. Alex and Leslie were original and nothing like jessie or lisa. (leslie was rich like lisa, but still not the same)

I didn't care for the character and was glad she was gone after 1 episodes, if I wanted Lisa, then give me Lisa.

yeah, her name was Essence, from what I saw at the Pilot. She seemed like a quiet, neutral version of Lisa but had a little grace of Jesse. But there was nothing more. had she had a chance maybe she could have been an interesting character.
