Dont get me wrong, i love TCY but, in my opinion, the show felt kind of empty with no more jessie, lisa,or belding, Also i think the student union was a poor substitute of the max

Don't get me wrong, I loved Lisa and Jessie, but I felt it to be more mature and I loved the whole atmosphere of the show. ;D

yeah same with me. i liked it more that the original for some reason. i think maybe because it had some good jokes and things. it was less stupidish. hard to explain. lol but i liked it better even when i first saw them as a kid so its not just that im older and they are older.

I have to agree with the rest.
I was a fan of TOS, but for me TCY was the best by far. Yeah, I missed the rest of the gang, but the characters seemed more believable to me in their university mode than they did in high school. Of course this may have had more to do with the fact that I was still in college at the time! Man do I wish there had been more seasons of TCY!!!

I loved the student union scenes in TCY, there were some really funny scenes in there. My favourite being when Zacks doing all sorts of stunts after the professor dies and Slater won't let him eat the chili dog from the snack bar. I liked SBTB and the college years just as much, though it is the college years episodes I watch more often when I get the chance. Also when the college years was on I was in the UK I was just finishing college myself, so it was easy for me to relate too. Not that anything half as funny ever happened in my college as in those episodes. They were briliantly written.

maybe it's just that i'm young and cant relate to college life too much? I just got to junior high (here its 7-9) So i have a little taste what high school is like, maybe thats why i like TOC

They had the max at bayside because thats where all teens went after school. If they had the max in TCY it wouldnt fit right, it would be boring, its better to switch things up and make the scenes in TCY to look as if its a real university, such as 90 percent of kids eat at the student union because its free. It also showed them as adults/working more, and growing up. TCY was the first time i saw lisa, zack, and AC actually having jobs. I mean you cant put a kid show in primetime
I mean can u imagine them in TCY sitting at the max talking, it would of gotten old, so im glad they switched it up and made it more realistic by showing what college people do in real life, having a job and supporting youself.

Well i'm not saying they should've kept the max, I'm just saying that they tried to make the student union the "College Max" I mean I love this show and all, I just dont think it was the same

Some people liked it better; some didn't. The first time the series was on TV, I was only 10, but I loved it, but now that I've been through college, I love it even more than when I first watched it or watching reruns several years ago. I just graduated from college and watching TCY DVDs is the first time I've seen it since being through college and I can totally relate to it so much! To me, the humor is better and I think I laugh more during one episode of TCY than I did a whole season of TOS on DVD. But that's just me, and if you don't like it better, that's OK! Everyone has their own opinion!
