I`mposting this because in a previous post, that I could`nt find, we discussed Tori`s recent divorce and all had our theories on why. Well here is why... Former '90210' star Tori Spelling goes house hunting with her new lover actor Dean McDermott in Los Angeles, Ca. The actress was married to writer Charlie Shanian in a 1.5 million dollar wedding just a year ago but left Shanian after her affair with McDermott while they were shooting a movie in Canada. Carrie, the title of your thread is soooooo true. I say Charlie should get the divorce done with ASAP and move on! I've never been a big fan of Tori's so I'm not going to say I hate her, but it is such a shame she treats marriage like this! She described Charlie in such a wonderful way just after they got married, then she gets involved with another married man on the set of a movie and both treat their spouses like they are disposable!
She has just thrown away what was possibly the best thing that could have happened to her.

but i heard somewhere that she said she didnt really love him(her soon to be ex husband) and that she just shouldnt have married him in the first place. i think that was the big mistake.

Tori and Charlie let their wedding video be featured on Instyle Celebrity Weddings. They did a sit down interview together and she said that she new before they got married that this was the man that she loved, that loved her and that was going to take care of her for the rest of her life.
She wasn't forced to marry Charlie. If she didn't think she was in love with him before they got married, if there was any doubt in her mind, she should have just prolonged the engagement. She said she wanted a divorce because she thought he was boring!
I watched that show and she was just glowing. The only doubt she showed was having children right away.
I have no sympathy for Tori and wish Charlie all the best.
No sympathy for her at all!

One of my New Years resolutions is to stop doing this, so I think I'll just get this out of my system now. "Extra" has confirmed that Tori and her lover are officially ENGAGED! Can you believe that? They heven't set a wedding date yet since neither of them is divorced yet. I wonder if Tiffani will attend this wedding! One things for sure, she should DEFINETLY not take any marriage advice from Tori!

They have to wait because neither of them is divorced yet, but I know what you mean. Truth be told, I think Tori has proven that she doesn't take marriage seriously at all! She said one of the reasons why her and Charlie split was because he was boring! She knew him for I think 2 years before they even got engaged. Then when it was found out that they were living apart, the E.T shows made it out to be like he only married her for her money and she let him be treated like that! When the truth was is that they were seperated because she was having an affair!
It just angers me so much when people don't take something like marriage seriously. It's not written in stone that you have to marry. So if you have doubts, then postpone the engagement!
When Tiffani was engaged to Richard it was well known how happy and excited she was. But then things obviousley started to fall apart and rather than have doubts and marry him anyway, they just ended it. Engagements are not just for planning weddings, they're also to find out if you really are ready to spend the rest of your life with this person.
