What was the deal with the Ox character played by Tony Fromin? In most epsiodes, he was a football meathead. However, in the "No Hope With Dope" epsiode, he was a heavy-metal music fan and he a different name - "Scud." What was that all about? Here's a picture of him as Scud:

I think this is just another one of those SBTB incongruities that we all question and is never really explained, but then we come to accept it as part of the weird charm of the show. Like how did everyone move from Indianapolis to California, including Mr. Belding?? Maybe they didn't expect the casual Saturday morning viewer to be so observant.

I never really understood that either. I'd have to agree with Muffin though.

I have two more.
On the Cream for a Day episode, one of the other girls running for homecoming queen with Kelly was Muffin Sangria. She was attractive, popular, and somebody both Zack and Slater liked. Skipping right along to season four, in the Teacher-Student week episode, at the beginning Jesse get's on stage and says that a talent show is cancelled because ventriloquist Muffin Sangria had her dummy eaten by termites and that she's sorry "for her loss" while everyone is laughing hard. This portrays Muffin as completley opposite, a nerd, compared to her in season one.
The second is Big Pete, the nerd we remember from season four. The funny part is he was seen as an extra from previous seasons and was COMPLETLEY NORMAL. He didn't look like a nerd and wasn't dressed like one. An example of this is in the Save the Max episode, when Slater is giving the speech near the end of the episode, we see Pete in the background clearly looking like a normal Bayside student. In season four, he's beyond a dweeb and a total dork.
Waaayyyyyyyy too many inconsistensies!
