I'm all for this thing where we can get avatars to be bigger than 100x100 but is there any way a restriction can be placed on the epic proportions of some people's avatars?
It seriously impacts my surfing pleasure and I have a 19 inch monitor and some avatars take up ALL of that, I can't imagine the frustration on a normal sized monitor!! Anyone else get this problem or is it just me?

I may be one of the guilty parties here. I am not computer savy and will readily admit it. I just put a pic in and don't even mess with the 100x100 part of it. But sometimes when I log on here, mine and some others do look enormous, then other times they look fine so I didn't mess with it. I have since changed mine to a smaller pic, but again have left the 100x100 bit alone. So if it was me I do apologize.

Don't worry Friar, I wasn't thinking of any one person specifically - I just noticed that sometimes some people's icons are massive! Its not all the time but its just so weird when it does that and the pictures take up the whole page! Yours looks great now though! xxx  |

We have it set so that it shouldn't be any larger than 150x150. That's the maximum. I'd hate to go back to 100x100 avatars because they just seem sooo small anymore LOL Just try to resize the pictures yourself instead of just using a pic you find, or make sure you modify it in the settings to be 150 pixels or smaller.
