Erika, Barb, Carrie and Katie have done an excellent job with this forum. But I have to say that this forum could use a massive clean-up. There are threads that just are not posted on anymore. On one of my other sites, the administrator did a massive reconstruction of the site. She is actually still very busy with it, but the way she has the forum set up is just incredible. In that case, there is nothing to be done. The sections are fine. I have just found that there are Poll's and threads started where they shouldn't be and that there are threads that are just not being posted on. What I would like to offer to do, is go through each section myself. I'll let you girls know what I think and we can just get rid of threads that are just not being used anymore. After that, it can be very much emphisized that whatever thread a member wants to start, goes into the section that it belongs in. If we all work together, we can keep this place nice and organized. ;D

I know it can be kind of messy sometimes, but I personally like keeping all the old threads because it serves as a reference for me and the newbies. I like to go back to old threads because sometimes I'll remember someone saying something or I said something, and I know the only place to read it is here...so I like those old threads. Even if they aren't active or there aren't that many posts in the thread. However, I do agree that maybe getting rid of the threads that don't have any replies and are also repeated posts.
Erika, is there a limit as to how many threads you can have here, or posts? I know a lot of boards do...so maybe a little clean-up wouldn't hurt to ensure that are important threads aren't thrown in the trash down the road.

Barb, I understand where you are coming from. I just went through the very first section on this forum. In that section New SBTB Merchandise was moved, so I think that thread can be deleted out of the first section. Favorite Music Video should be in the "Poll" section, unless there is already a poll about that. And maybe the Countdown Timer could be deleted? That one I'm not sure about because it was a very exciting time for the forum.
So, those are the changes I sent to Erika in a PM about "The Ultimate SBTB Network Official Board".

The music video poll was put there because that was part of the hype of the launch, so that's why that's there. That board was created to express your thoughts on the site, and that's part of it. I totally agree with a little clean-up though, don't get me wrong. And a little clean-up can go a long way...I just don't think deleting threads that were once very active or semi-active should be deleted, that's all.

Thanks for the suggestions girls! There are certain threads that, yes, they haven't been posted in in a very, very long time. The reason I am little hesitant to delete them is because we can agree this is the biggest SBTB fan resource out there. And there are topics that people do refer back to for certain reasons. But, of course, there are threads that just need to be locked or deleted. We have sooo many, they all can't that important. So I will keep my eye out for them. And I hope the mods can help me, too. I don't want to confuse anyone, and I do want to make this place as organized and resourceful as possible. Thanks again for the suggestions!!!

I went ahead and began cleaning up FORUM/WEBSITE NEWS AND UPDATES section. I just deleted threads that were from 2003-2004. Yeah. those needed to really. They weren't useful anymore. I will be using this thread to let everyone know about the changes I've made, by the way.

Those are the kinds of threads that I'm talking about. So maybe I shouldn't have said "Massive" clean-up. lol, But like I said, I'm willing to suggest some threads as well, but none that have been active.

I would like to STRONGLY suggest that the Dustin Diamond section gets a massive clean-up. I just went to that section because I saw The Friar posted there and I respect his opinions very much. I say enough is enough. My feelings about Dustin are very strong, but I have better things to do with my time then post or read any of that crap. We do still have Dustin fans on this forum and this is showing a complete lack of respect to them. Like The Friar said, this stuff doesn't belong on this site.

Hey Gang, I would second QK'S suggestion that a clean up of the DD section is in order. I would suggest that the Sex Tape thread be eliminated entirely! This is a great site, but this kind of junk is dragging the whole site down with it. I don't come here to read about DD and his sexual preferences. I don't click on a post and expect to be taken to a porn site...not here at the best SBTB place on the net. But that's exactly what I am getting when I come here and I don't like it. I respect QK very much and know she is looking out for the best interests of the WHOLE site and STRONGLY agree with her. Please consider removing this thread. And there is something fishy going on with these DD posters. I gave an F early this morning to this latest poster which brought the poster down to 0. Wouldn't you know it, the poster is back to a 1 already. How does that happen? Fishy. Something needs to be done about this as well. The Friar

I cleaned up the most obvious. Erika can clean out whatever else she thinks is needed when she has the time. Sorry guys...I agree, we don't need this here.

I would like to thank The Friar VERY much for his post. Everything he said about me is the truth. I have my personal opinions about DD, but I keep them off the site. There are still a good number of threads I feel should be eliminated, but the worst one has been taken care of thanks to Barb. Think about it, the worst thread in that section was 3 PAGES LONG! That is disgusting! I only went to it this morning because I saw that The Friar had posted and have a great deal of respect for what he has to say. I don't know what the poster before The Friar posted and I don't care. I'm with The Friar as to wondering how that poster could get an A+ in that thread, have it taken away for obvious reasons, the get it back?
There is still more to be done in that section, but I do understand that Erika is busy right now. To The Friar, an A+ for you, and Barb, you'll be getting an A+ from me as well. It is DEEPLY appreciated that you went and just deleted that thread.

An A+ to QueenKelly for her courage to step out and face this problem head on. It took guts QueenKelly, glad you had it in you to stand up for what's right and for making this site a better place. It's a person like yourself that makes this a great place to visit and talk. I am honored that I can call you friend.
