Happy Newyear everyone! Yesterday, we went to church first. Then we played a game with the family, and a friend of mine. And 5 minutes to 12, we watched the clock on TV, and then we watched the fireworks, and fired some ourselves. Ofcourse, we also had 'oliebollen' (in english that would be 'oil balls', which is a traditional thing here. Don't know if any of you is familiar with this, but here you can read what it is: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oliebol |

mmmm sounds yummy! there is no way you could set of fireworks here. we got about 8 inches of snow that started last night until late this morning. blech!
