I hope all forum members are safe. This is truly a disaster that shouldn't have happened.

I hope this will teach people to respect others. You never know when you might hurt someone more than you think. Everyone has feelings.

Barb pretty much says it for for me.

I saw this on the news yesterday at a friends house. My prayers go out to everyone there. There are physical and emotional scars. Plus, there's probably a mixure of sadness and anger.

I know what happened, we talked about it in school (i am using a school computer right now). A person went into a VT dorm room and shot the two people that were in it. No one else was warned at the time...... then the same person went to the other side of the campus and began going into class rooms and shooting the people in it. i'm not sure if the person was a student or not or weather or not he was caught but thats the story... sad huh?..

I was watching the news about this this morning and they confirmed that the same gun was used to kill all 32 people. The 33rd person was the shooter who killed himself. He was a student at this University and lived on campus. What has not been confirmed, but is believed to be true, is that the 30 people that were killed in the classes was that of the person identified as the shooter. The investigators are doing finger prints to be sure that it was the same person that killed all 32 people. I think it's obvious to them, but they want solid proof before they confirm that.

I saw it once and it angered me that they aired it.

I was so shocked when I heard it on the news, my prayers stay with the families that were effected. It was hard to stop thinking of anything else for days.

Lets hope nothing likes this ever happens again, makes you realise how fragile life can be.
