Nintendo Wii

Does anyone have a Wii? If so, how do you like it and what are your favorite games? I'm getting one...mine is in the mail....and right now I only have the sports game that comes with it.

I haven't really been into video games since the SNES. Mario games were my favorite, and basically were the only ones I really played. I looked into Mario Galaxy and I really don't think that would be something I'd be interested in.

I heard Guitar Hero is fun, but I don't know if I want to spend the money on that right now. I'm looking into the cheaper games...for now. $50 for a game seems a little steep considering I might not even like it.

The sports game does sound fun. And I'm almost positive I'm going to get Wii Play since it comes with games and another remote. I think I want games that have a lot of action.

So any suggestions would be great! I'm really looking forward to it because it sounds like a lot of fun...and I know everyone is going nuts over them, so it has to be great.

i dont have one but i have played it at the house i babysit it. i know ive played bowling and that was fun. there is another cool one but i cant think of the name of it right now. im going over there tomarrow i can ask the kids which ones they really like. your lucky your getting one. ive never even had a nintendo! lol

oh and the kids arent that little so they know what the good games are. lol the oldest is 13.

I think the Dancing With the Stars game looks like a lot of fun and really good exercise.

I actually went ahead and got that cause I had been looking it myself. It's an interesting game, but I wish I would've just rented it. You don't really have to "dance"....you move the remote/nunchuck in the direction the arrow points. I was going to get Guitar Hero, but it's sold out everywhere. I also got Mario Party 8 and I hate it. LOL I rented the others. I learned my lesson...rent first. Go figure that I like the free, included game the best! ...Now that's a lot of fun. The tennis game is my favorite.

Oh and Mario is in the game. But I haven't been able to "dance" with him yet. You have to move up in rounds to unlock the players and I guess my timing is off....it doesn't recognize every move I make, even though I swear I'm on time. LOL

yeah ive played the tennis game too. that one is fun! before you said you were renting some i was just going to say you should. so then you dont waste your money on a game you dont like.

I know this topic is a year or two old but I love my wii! I love wii sports, wii fit, mario galaxy, deca sports, and wii music.
