I think I remember seeing an episode or two years ago, in the mid 90s, I think I recall a few scenes with Mr Belding and Screech as his assistant. And from what I remember, never ever saw it again because I didn't care to. I knew it wouldn't be as good as the original SBTB but I didn't think it'd be as bad as I thought it was. Sorry but I just never got into it. SBTB without Zack, Kelly, Slater, Screech, Lisa and Jessie just isn't worth it in my opinion

Oh and I have to add that I did love the College Years (which wasnt years plural, just one season!) It still felt like SBTB to me, with Zack, Screech and Slater in it. And I really took to Leslie and Alex even though I didnt think I would at first. The best thing about it was getting Zack and Kelly back together, which just felt so right, I was glad their romance went full-circle. The two of them getting married was what I hoped for from the beginning of original SBTB
The New Class was, sorry to put it this way, a poor follow-up to such a classic show. There will never be another Zack Morris, or another Zack/Kelly

I saw the first episode of the first season of The New Class and turned it off. I started watching again when Screech returned and was saddened to see, what I felt to be, the butchering of the character. I don't know why they had it on for so long the way they had it. It was never going to match TOS, but the writers could have done a much better job with TNC. In my opinion, TNC was just done to poorly. Either way TOS was always going to be better, but like I said, the writers did a very poor job with TNC so it couldn't have been even close to as good as TOS.

I never saw many episodes but I just never got used to any of the new main cast of the New Class, I just didn't really get why SBTB had to continue after the wedding in vegas, that felt like the ultimate end. It was nice to think it would continue at the time, but when it aired I think it proved my thought that a new cast just wouldn't measure up to the original

Mo cast was ever going to measure up to the original. SBTB was one of a kind. I just think if The New Class could have been done better it could have been one of a kind as well.

The first season was very poor, with the identikit replications of the original cast - Scott/Zack, Weasel/Screech etc. But the second and third seasons had a lot of potential. Too bad it just got more ridiculous and cartoonish from then on.

I enjoyed the few episodes I saw, but it was never the same after the original class graduated.
