I am a big fan of SBTBTOS and GMMB and SBTBTCY, I know I have seen SBTBTNC at least a couple of times But I can't remember anything. And I keep hearing people saying how it sucked and stuff did it really? Was it good or bad?

I don't understand those people either. I like TNC:). And people who don't like it are not going to change my opinion about that

I personally did not like it at all! lol But Jeff, I would NEVER expect you to change your opinion about. We all have our own taste and we should respect that.

I'd say it picked up in season 3 got officially "good" from season 4 on. I actually like it more now than when it was on having not seen the episodes in some time.

I'd say it picked up in season 3 got officially "good" from season 4 on. I actually like it more now than when it was on having not seen the episodes in some time. I can't use "The New Class" and "good" in the same sentence unless there was a "not" somewhere in there. lol Without being unfair to TNC, it was unfortunately compared to the original series, which it didn't even come close. All comparisons aside, as a stand-alone show, it was just an average, mediocre show like just about every other teen show that aired during that timeframe on Saturday mornings on NBC. Was it horrible and totally unwatchable? I wouldn't go that far, but I definitely wouldn't say it was a great, or even good, show. In my opinion, it's not worth putting on syndication (which is why it's not) and definitely not worth its weight on DVD.

Yeah, I agree Animal, but even though I agree I am on the verge of collecting them all on DVD. LOL Yeah, I've started my collection...it will be a slow process though. I will buy a season here and there, but I already got the first season. I just want them to have them, they're apart of SBTB history. You never know if they'll stop producing them like they did with the VHS', so I want to have them incase they're never available again.

Recently I've gotten my hands on Seasons 6 & 7, I'm still waiting for Season 1 to arrive. But I have been watching them, and they're not as bad as I once thought they were. Still not great, but enjoyable. They will never compare to the original, but putting that aside it's a good show. It boggles my mind how they got the money for the new sets and everything though...the original never got that and they brought in better ratings. I don't remember the eariler seasons, but I noticed so far that most of it is set outside of school. I'm just starting disc 2 though, so maybe things will change. But you see them all with jobs at the mall mostly...I do admit I love Mr. Belding and Screech's relationship, sometimes a bit too cheesy, but I love how after all these years Screech is still around and he's best friends with Mr. Belding. It's a nice add to the collection.

Ok, just watched a couple episodes from season one. Hated them. Total complete rip off. And the blonde who is trying to be Jessie is really annoying. Most of them are somewhat annoying, but she's the worst. I'm glad they made some cast changes. I hate when shows try to use the same exact characters twice. Loved seeing Ms. Simpson again though. Oh and Zack does a much better job in drag. ...and how dare the new guy talk to the camera. Season 6 looks 10x better so far. Even season 2 is a lot better.
