Hey Guys,
I was just curious. Do u think we'll ever see a station that will play reruns of SBTB: The New Class. I mean the show lasted for, if i'm right, 7 seasons. You'd think we'd at least see some station playing reruns. Although i'd much rather watch the Original Class, it would still be good to see a rerun of the New Class here and there.
What are your thoughts?

I believe one day it will. Maybe on a network such as Noggin, or The N, whatever it's called these days. It aired on USA there for a little while. Right now networks are more interested in reality tv or home improvement shows, even in the daytime...I think once this reality phase is over, or died down, there is a chance it will make a comeback.

I doubt it. I just don't think there is enough demand to put it on the air. I think the reason it lasted so long was because of its timeslot on Saturday mornings and the fact that it appealed to that teen demographic, which allowed it to be paired with other teen-centric shows. I personally don't think a network would air those episodes when they have the original SBTB to work with. The College Years, though it was canceled in its first season, still gets reruns aired, while The New Class, which lasted 7, gets zero airtime. Shows how bad The New Class really was. Either that, or it shows the lack of acceptance by the SBTB fans by not wanting a watered-down version of their favorite show.

Yeah, the UK does show re-runs of Original class, College Years AND New Class on various channels - Trouble (formerly The Children's Channel or TCC) used to show the Original, now it shows New Class and Nickelodeon shows the Original. They swap and change a lot but with the exception of GMMB, you can basically watch any or all SBTB shows every day! *happy*

Thanx for the feedback guys. I just always thought it was weird how they never really show any reruns.

LOL Sorry, but you're a little outranked here, I think you'd have a forum full of very mad people if they yanked it off the air and showed episodes of TNC. LOL Did you know they had TNC on DVD?

I have to agree with QK and Barb here, I NEVER get tired of watching TOS! I am not a fan of TNC and would stop watching with my breakfast if they started showing those. I just could never get into TNC after the original cast was gone. I never felt a connection with the actors and the characters in TNC as I did with TOS. Sorry. I'm just glad that I have all of TOS on DVD as well as TCY, so when they do pull the plug on TOS eps. I can continue to watch them on my own. The ;D Friar

After DD joined the cast of TNC I watched every episode. But there were SO many cast changes. I never got into TNC either. I'm just glad it's on DVD for those that are fans of it. I have my DVD's of TOS and TCY.

I doubt we'll ever see reruns of the show--mostly because it's not as popular as TOS. I'm a fan of all three (TOS, TNC, TCY), and I can't imagine only having one of the three on always! I do, however, think it wouldn't be too bad to have one day where at least on episode of TNC would be aired just for fans of TNC.

I never watched the new class on a regular basis, just an episode here and there, I just couldn't get into it like the originals!

I love them all - and if its SBTB and on DVD, I own it. I still watch a lot of SBTB at night before bed on my DVD player.
