Ok, I am posting this because it seems that one of our members has been having difficulty logging in. She even tried creating a new account. I'm still not sure what the problem is...but I'd hate to know that there are other members trying to log-in and we're not trying to help. So here are a few things that could be done to fix the problem: ---First try clearing your internet cookies. To do this: 1. Go up to Tools. 2. Go to Internet Options...3. Click Delete Cookies. 4. Select OK. ---If that doesn't help, try selecting Forever when you are logging in. I don't know why this helps but at the Proboard Support Forum it seems to be fixing the problem for most. ---If that still doesn't help make sure if you have a firewall it accepts cookies. ---Finally, if all of that doesn't help I'm sorry, there's nothing I know that I could do to help. I suggest going to www.proboards.com/ and asking for help at their support forum...it's their forum system, so I'm sure they can help. If you are having problems, let us know. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks Erika! I was told that it could take some time for proboards to fully recognize the password, so I'm going to give it some time. I'll keep you informed as to how things are going. Barb, thanks again for all your help!

Okay, I feel really stupid for saying this, but I wanted to let you guys know what's up. I forgot what email address I signed up with, my password AND username. I am so embarrassed. So I figured the best thing for me to do was to sign up for another account. I'm letting you know just in case you see that my IP matches my other username (that I can't remember) and you wouldn't think it was someone trying to start trouble. I hope that's okay. Ashleigh

Mine was a router problem. It was weird it only affected this forum only. I have no idea why. But I unplugged my router and plugged it back in, refreshed my browser, and everything worked out all right.
If she doesn't have a router, have her clear her cookies, and refresh her browser. A computer restart may help as well. Also, make sure cap lock is off when typing her password, as it could be case-sensitive.

Tell her she can access "Mr. Belding's Office" as you don't need to be a member to post there.
I'd say it's a cookies problem. She'll need to clear them by going into her internet preferences in IE or going to "Clear Private Data" under "Tools" in Firefox.
And have her select "Forever" on the log-in screen, this is known glitch from the past.

Does she use AOL? If she does, should would need to open IE or Firefox and try to log in through there. Let me know if that helps. Out.
