What was your favorite Nickelodeon classic tv show? You know the ones from back in day.
I'd have to say Salute Your Shorts was one of my favorites.

I would have to say it's a tie between "Legends of the Hidden Temple" and "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" There were tons of classics on during Nick's heyday in the 90's, but the those two are my favs

Oh I had tons of faves. My tv barely tuned into any other station. I used to watch Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Family Double Dare, The Elephant Show, Muppet Babies, Clarissa Explains It All, and basically any other Nick show... including Snick and Nick @ Nite. Remember Stick Stickly and that pizza face thing from Pizza Hut...and they had their Halloween celebration nights lol? And remember when you could enter the contest to get your room decorated? lol Aww...I miss the old Nick. It's a shame we all have to grow up and things are "upgraded"...Oh well. Good memories. A lot of people say they wish they could've grown up in a different era...well, I am sooo glad I grew up when I did. Aside from the pictures of me wearing hot pink spandex shorts and my hair pulled up to the side, it was all good. lol

the elephant show! i have that on tape somewhere. i used to watch that all the time and clarissa. i didnt care for muppet babies but my sister loved it so i ended up watching it anyway or else shed scream. lol my dad didnt like it and made up a name for it, muppet stiinkos. haha i guess he got sick of my sis having it on all the time. yes i remember stick stickly too. my friend knew the whole thing by heart, like where you write to him or something. yeah the 90s were great! i miss them.

I wish things could of stayed that way into this decade...

Great feedback guys! I thought I'd bring back old memories by posting this thread. Hopefully all these great shows will make it to the Nickelodeon Rewind collection. I just pruchased The Adventures of Pete and Pete on dvd the other day.
My sister and I always watched Nickelodeon! I remeber on weekdays our bedtime would be after watching an episode of Doug! We use to live for Saturday nights when Snick came on! I loved watching All That(the original cast), Keenan and Kel, and Alex Mack was great too.

And Alex Mack. Forgot about that too, didn't they show those two back-to-back for the most part?

The list goes on and on! I forget if they showed them back to back, though.

I always loved the SNICK shows, like Are You Afraid of the Dark, All That, and other ones. Let's see what else I can think of:
The Tomorrow People -- The remake of the 70s series. Kristian Schmid was just cute! Clarissa Explains it all -- It had a catchy theme song! Salute Your Shorts -- Crazy nonsense, but of the good kind! The kids vs. Ug was just so cool Pete and Pete Doug[ -- at least, the first couple of seasons
Ah, how I miss the old school Nick!

I miss how they don't really incorporate slime into their shows anymore. Are there any? I know their award show does, but I think that's it. I miss their toys too. The moon shoes, the gak, floam, squirt guns. Their toys were beyond the best. Nickelodeon went downhill when they closed Nickelodeon Studios in Florida. That's when it all ended.
