Holy cow!!! Last night's action was incredible! I laughed out loud when Pierce called him Charles! What utter disrespect and so well deserved. I cannot wait for next week's two hour conclusion - but then there is the long wait for the next season and you KNOW there will be a cliffhanger extraordinaire.
No, I didn’t get the Chinese reference. If you like you can tell me some of it, but I am getting season 1 for Father’s Day…I think. And I plan on getting the rest to catch myself up. So fire away Muff, but not too much fire power!!!

The Chinese involvement happened toward the end of last season, so I'll try and explain without giving too much away. A Chinese citizen living in Los Angeles was found to have helped the terrorists, either knowingly or unknowingly, it didn't really matter. Needless to say, Jack wanted to bring him into CTU and interrogate him. The Chinese guy knew something was up and took refuge in the Chinese consulate in LA. Well something bad went down at the consulate and the Chinese determined that Jack played a role in it. Since the consulate is sovereign territory that is under Chinese law, the Chinese wanted to extradite Jack back to China, carry out what would essentially be a kangaroo court, and sentence Jack to life in a Chinese prison. Well, neither CTU nor the Feds wanted Jack to go to China for fear of what other secrets might come out, so plans were hatched to make the whole situation "go away". The beginning of this season picks up where last season left off. Jack had "disappeared" and not even his daughter knew what happened to him. So if the Chinese find out that Jack is back, they will certainly execute him and the US government is in big trouble. I hope I didn't reveal too much, but then you won't know how much I actually did reveal until you watch it. And probably by the time you get to season 4, you'll have forgotten this.

Muff,
In the words of one Miss Jessica Spano...
"I'm so excited! I'm so excited!"
And after the show...
"I'm so confused!" LOL!!!

No, Jack Bauer is da man! I loved the smirk that the First Lady and Mike Novick gave to the ex-President when he was taken away. That was great! The actors who played the President and First Lady should definitely win Emmys.
So do you still want to be Jack when you grow up? It didn't look like he was having too much fun with the Chinese.
I heard Keifer Sutherland signed on for another 3 years (not exactly sure how many years), so I guess they can't kill him off just yet.
Did you see "Walt Cummings" came back to life and is starring in some new Fox drama this fall. They ran an ad for it during 24 last night. I thought that was sort of funny.
I wish they'd give Curtis a bigger role. He came onto the show last season and seemed to be the heir-apparent to Jack. He was a real SOB last year and hardly did anything this year except "set up perimeters" and transport people back and forth from CTU.
AHHH, I don't want to wait until January!!

Hey Gang, I've been meaning to post the spotting of an old SBTB guest star on the TV series "24." Rena Sofer who played Zack's love interest Andrea Larson in "Saved by the Bell: Hawaiian Style" is now starring in the role of Jack's sister-in-law Marilyn Bauer. She still looks great after all of these years. Her web site is... www.renasofer.net/Rena Sofer The ;D Friar

I hated her when the movie came out though, cause I hated how Zack was so serious about her and I was worried Zack was going to be with her instead of Kelly LOL ...Oh, and her eyebrows bugged me too. LOL

She does a good job on "24," however, I don't think her role will last very long, probably just this season. But another SBTB connection on a hit show!
