It could be worse...I mean it's certainly not good. But at least she's not shaving her head and claiming she's Satan's spawn...or doing meth.

your right barb. there are actually many people that have a few drinks and think they are totally fine and drive home and get stopped for drunk driving. it doesnt mean shes a bad person and has gone off the deep end. she just made a mistake. like you said she could have done a lot worse. and at least she didnt hit or injure anyone.

There was no mistake done here. She had been drinking and got behind the wheel of a vehicle. It is SO simple. If you're going to drink, DON'T DRIVE!!!

im not saying she didnt do something wrong because she did. but it doesnt say how drunk she was or what she was stopped for. i just dont like to jump to conclusions when i dont have all the facts.

To me it makes no difference how much she had to drink. She got behind the wheel after drinking alcohol. I don't hate her, I'm just so mad when people make these choices. She had been drinking and she had been driving.

yeah i agree its wrong. for some people though it is very hard to know how much is too much to get behind the wheel. i think they should come out with some kind of little test people can buy to see if they are too intoxicated to drive.

I wonder who she had been with that night? If I'm out with someone and they're drinking, they are not getting behind the wheel of any vehicle.

Dumb, dumb, dumb! Thank goodness no one was hurt by her decision. Why can't people have common sense!? I agree. I may be a little paranoid, but after my husband has had a second glass of wine, I take the car. You just can't ever be too careful. And he's not even drunk! He just gets sleepy! LOL But seriously, I am sad to hear this happened to her. Why can't people learn from other people's mistakes?

I want to elaborate on my answer. I said that all wrong. You guys probably think I don't think drinking and driving is a bad thing. I just think that the news tends to blow things out of proportion sometimes. Drunk driving is very dangerous, it's horrible, and too many people do it....even if you have a drink you shouldn't get behind the wheel. I just think the news concentrates on the wrong things sometimes. I mean we have a war going on where people are losing their lives....and most people are oblivious to it even going on. That's all. Don't want you to think I don't care! lol Cause I do. Sorry.
