Even when I met him last year he had lost weight....sure he was heavy, but not nearly as big as he used to be.

Barb, you met Dennis? I didn't know that! What's he like? He strikes me as a very nice person. I didn't realize he had lost weight. I haven't seen many pics of him, I just looked at the pictures and thought that he has put on eight, but he does still look good.

Take a look at Erika's site and look at the SBTB DVD Release Party pictures. As for me meeting him, I went to one of his SBTB presentations. Let me see if I can find the thread after my visit.... sbtbnow.proboards18.com/index.cgi?board=other&action=display&thread=1085087615When I find the pics, I'll post those too. I imagine they're somewhere on this forum, but they maybe dead links since my site's not up anymore.

With the pics, are you talking about the one with lark for the release of the first box set? If so, I have those saved on my computer. He has put on quite a bit of weight, but as long as he's healthy, I see no problem with it. As far as a reunion goes, I'm never going to give up hope on that! I'm not going to nag and keep asking about it, but I'm not giving up hope! The way Dennis described how he would like to see the reunion be done is exactly how I think it should be done as well! I think it would be so neat to have them all sit down and talk about their experience on the show, their characters, etc. That's how alot of reunions are being done now. I think that would be great! Thanks for that link. I don't have time to listen to it him speeking right now, but thanks to you I'll be able to!

I guess it would be the Scene It? Hollywood Challenge pictures that I meant to say.... www.savedbythebellnow.com/photostation/dennishaskins/gallery.htmlAnd as for the reunion....I have no doubt one will happen. I just don't think it will happen anytime soon. I'd say they'll probably be in their 40's or maybe even their 50's before we see one. They're busy working on their careers otherwise. And I don't care what kind of reunion. I'd love to see an actual movie, but I'd also love to see them interact with one another for a sit-down conversation.

i always hoped and am still hoping that there'd be a reunion movie, to see how they are like 10+ yrs from high school. i guess w/ the ego and the schedule all the casts have, it's impossible to get them back together-- especially if it means they have to be associate w/ saved by the bell.
i'm a bit dissapointed tho, cuz it's not like SBTB is a HORRIBLE show. it's just a different kind (a bit corny) of show. i dont understand why most of them want to 'shed' their SBTB image or association. how come they're not thankful! geeez. if i was on SBTB and they want me to do a reunion show, i'd jump at it since it's the show that made me popular. actors are so unthankful nowadys!

Hey Barb, What is this whole SBTB presentation thing you went to all about? Dennis Haskins was on tour, for basically a huge SBTB pep rally lol I can't remember the total number of people but I'd say there were a few hundred. I was lucky enough to get up close (would've been closer but the seats were saved for the comittee/clubs that brought him to the university). Anyways it was basically all about SBTB (with lots of unique information) but he also talked a little bit about himself. He had a question and answer session (where I asked about the reunion), a look alike contest where people dressed up like the characters (he even made them act out the characters), a trivia contest, and then there was an interview held by one of the college students. he was very open to all questions and he stayed afterwards for everyone to get his autograph and picture. at first i was in the back of the line but i got bumped up to the very front cause they knew i traveled a long way and it was late at night. so dennis was very nice...and i talked to him as if he were a friend. it was one of the best experiences in my life and i was fortunate enough to get to go. if he's still doing them i urge you to get tickets because this kind of stuff won't be around much longer. i felt like i was at a football game or a concert...that's how much life was in that room. everyone was pumped. the show hasn't been making episodes for over 10 years and he's still touring about it....how awesome is that? ok i'm done lol this was more than i was going to type haha if you guys are truely interested i can possibly try to upload the whole thing if i can find the right software to record it (i had a hard time finding some before)

WOW! That sounds like it was a once in a life time experience, Barb! Thanx for sharing your story. Do you know if he is still touring, or do you know how i can find out? I would love to go to something like that! And if it isn't any trouble i would love to hear the whole thing! Thank you so much for reliving your experience with us!
