this was not one of my very favorite episodes because it took me about 5 times of watching it to get what some of the scenes were saying. Like when screech and zack were listening to the girls of the taping machine, the boys suddenly start screaming something about a basketball game.

I am actually typing this as I re-watch the episode, so it may be a bit sketchy. I didn't remember the episode when I started watching....but it all came back to me as I was watching it. This isn't one of my favourites but I do like it. I thought Zack's whole disguise bit at the start was a bit lame, especially when he pulls off his disguise and says 'It's Me, ZACK!'. I love this show sooo much, but some of the stuff they did in the show early on was soooo corny! I love when Zack and Screech are in Jessie's bedroom setting up the tape and they hear Jessie coming so Zack pushes Screech out of the window, and then later on he crawls out of the bed with Jessie's panty hose on his head There are some really funny moments in this episode, like when Screech fantasized that Jessie, Lisa and Kelly were in love with him and they were serenading the picture of him I really did love good ol' nieve Screech at the beginning of the series, but I think I did prefer him later on as he seemed to have a whole lot more heart It seemed his childhood crush on Lisa became more mature as he did, which I thought was really sweet I had to laugh when Lisa was describing Michael Jackson as her ideal man. I believe her exact words were that he was gentle, talented and gorgeous. But aside from that comment, I loved Screech's imitation of Michael Jackson...his voice was sooo cool Kelly with the baseball bat was hilarious...and when Zack bumped into the skeleton...sooo awesome!! I keep forgetting how short Mark-Paul was in the first season, hehe, he looked sooo short up against Jessie, when in later seasons he is taller than Jessie. And he looked sooo adorable when him and Rhonda were at the dance and she punched him Best quote:Zack: "But Kelly get's these headaches!!" Mr.Belding: "They ALL get headaches Zack!" Mr. Belding's delivery was perfect on that quote. Anyways, I rate this episode 6/10...as I kept watching it got a lot funnier But I can't forgive the 'Zack in disguise' bit, hence it was marked down *nods*

Hey Gang,
One of the things I love about these early eps. is that Screech gave as good as he got from Zack. I know I went into this in another thread a long time ago, but it bears repeating here.
One of the things that really gets under my skin in sitcoms is that there are times when the "not so smart characters" get dumbed down beyond belief. Two that come to mind are Buddy from Charles in Charge and Screech from SBTB. Both start out as loveable characters that have some "blonde" moments, but for the most part are NOT considered idiots.
Then they were dumbed down.
In the case of Screech it got worse and worse as the show wore on. I HATED to see this. Screech got to be so out there that he was almost intolerable, and I didn't even watch TNC, where I hear it continued.
In these early eps. Zack didn't always get away with the wise cracks against Screech. Screech actually had a backbone early on and I loved that!
I rate this episode 5 Mr. B's for that alone!
Enough of the rant!

this episode was definitely not one of my favorites. the only part of the episode that i liked was when kelly had zack trapped in the classroom with a bat. i loved it. overall i would give it a 6 or 7 out of 10.

Thanks QK!
I will post this scale here again. It's fun to use because it is in the spirit of SBTB. Rate and enjoy!
The Belding Scale
1 - 5 Mr. B's
1 - Detention! 2 - A date with a nerd! 3 - A Mr. B laugh! 4 - Screech doing your homework! 5 - Date to the Prom with Zack or Kelly!
